Hi Heather Briefly a Delicious Life is on my TBR. My top ten books od the year were The Tiffany Aching series by Terry Pratchett, The Deans Watch, Scent of Water and Gentian Hill (all by Elizabeth Goudge) Rewitched and The Girl who Drank the Moon (cozy fantasy).

Thank you for enticing me to read so many more amazing books Heather. We seem to have similar tastes in some instances, it would be so good tochat books if we didn't live so far away. I've just checked out Briefly A Delicios Life & I can't wait to dive into it. I just finished a brilliant historical fiction novel, A Bakery In Paris by Aimie K. Runyan which I throughly enjoyed and would highly recommend. 😊

I’m so glad you personalized what “best” means to you. I think it should feel true and honest to your actual feelings and not necessarily match how someone else determines their best books of the year. I know I’m not objective with how I determine my favorite books at all, it’s entirely based on my personal enjoyment. I still haven’t finished The Way We Live Now but I’m already excited to read more of Trollope’s books!
