hey i tried connecting one of the usb mics you suggested to my xbox, it worked but for some reason my voice doesn’t sound good and cuts out randomly, what should the gain and headphone knob be set to for better sound?

Typically 50% for both but it's trial and area make sure you mic is placed close to you as well and if it has noise cancelation turn it off Typically I don't like them unless I have to use them.
