Not only his Boxing, but his striking in general is so sharp. That knee he timed on Gilbert Burns to snatch the win in the last minute of the fight was just insane. Perfectly timed and BAM, right when Gilbert came in. He also looked so much ahead in the striking at all times, and so effortlessly. The fact that he can defend himself against Burns on the ground, and even get up and finish Burns with a crazy move like that, whilst having a clean break in his arm, that shows he will be in the top of the division for a long time 😅

@@davidfernandez8515the best boxer in the UFC is former champ Holly Holm, she’s 33-2 in professional boxing, but as far as MMA boxing is concerned, probably Dustin Poirier. Great Philly shell defense, shoulder rolls, exploitation of angles, with cardio and KO power to go along with it. Even Max Holloway told his corner, “he blocks weird.” I really dig Ilia Topuria as champ, great grappler with deceptively good boxing, but I think Dustin Poirier would cook that man standing up.

As a lifelong boxing fan the answer is clearly yes to me. Theres guys with better overall striking, but JDM and Holly Holm the only two pure boxing style strikers in ufc. Strickland nice with it but less technical
