If you had a bit more patience, you could have also cored the US through 'unite the anglosphere' before doing the imperial federation.

Was going to say that. Another youtuber did a guide with that. You release Canada, give them the cores, and then they rebel allowing you to gobble them up again before doing the focus for federation.

You know, I think you should just do some openers that you enjoy. Though, Raj opener would be interesting, seeing as you start as a Colony; though, bit slow to get going...tonnes of manpower though and an ok focus tree.

Hey, when defeating the UK in the Civil War, the faction ownership reverts to a Commonwealth member, and the war continues. How can I trigger the peace deal screen after capturing the UK? Is it determined by RNG, or is there a specific mechanic I'm missing? ty for the videos as always.

Alternatively you could delete your capital ships and issue a warning to the Netherlands. France would declare on them, naval invade and puppet them but you'd still keep the war goal. That you could use once turning fash, thus bringing France into the war from the very beginning as you're attacking what is now the French Netherlands

@@Taureor It was Bubbles Zest's opening for his Imperial Federation strategy. Unless PDX fixed this, all these war goals stay with you. But seeing that France, Italy, Japan and the US will also attack the offenders, the outcome could be unpredictable

The Problem with The USA as a faction leader is that only democratic nations can join their faction because they have a national spirit for that. That's why for example Brazil didn't join.

@@Taureor You can conquer Canada and the USA, then give the land to Canada forming the North American Dominion. To my knowledge, the NAD doesn't rebel or at least if it does it is easy to conquer and keep the cores.

I dont think you actually gain the cores without holding the conference. You get the other benefits but don't actually core the Dominions. I've done games as monarchist and fascist Britain and gained like 10 million manpower from doing the conference the long way
