Thank you so much for putting the brush names at the end, Milly! As a Deaf person, who relies on captions, CC often misses names and details that are not standard, so I wasn't able to find the brushes by name until you laid them out at 27:14. Thank you!

I keep trying to do work but this video is such a must-watch and has most of my attention. I intend to keep referring to this in future. The labeled brush comparison shots alone are gold. This video is a true encyclopedia for any eye makeup user in or with access to the markets of the brands you highlighted. Thanks so much for your hard work on this very needed and super useful video, Milly!

When I got some rephr brushes, it changed the game for me. I can blend shadows with ease in less time. Before, I had only sigma synthetic and they are good quality brushes but natural hair bristles work a lot better.

That’s it. I think I’m biting the bullet and buying Rephr brushes. You’ve convinced me. Not sure if you’ve already done a video but I’d love to know how you clean/take care of your natural hair brushes? The Rephr brushes will be my first natural haired brushes and I’m not an expert on how to take care of them at all. Thank you so much for this video. So helpful and informative!!

Wow, what an awesome breakdown! I've been watching the Rephr site like a hawk waiting for #21 & #23 to become available again, and they just arrived today!! I'm so excited to try them...and PSA: EVERYTHING IS BACK IN STOCK AND THEY'RE HAVING A SITE-WIDE SALE! So I just went back to pick up #13 & #14.

Revlon have great brushes with unique shapes. Also eco tools have tiny brushes. I know these are synthetic brushes. I also use water colour brushes as makeup brushes as they are under 2- 5 dollers and are fantastic for shimmers!

Wow I appreciate this video so much! I have such strong preferences with my brushes now that most of mine end up scratching my lids or are just too big in shape from drugstore/widely distributed brands. Two of my favorite 10-ish brushes are from random cheapie sets I got in Forever 21 13 years ago ... but I don't want to bet on random sets like that anymore so I was looking for a detailed comparison post like this. Thank you!

Needed to get some smaller blending brushes so this video couldn't have come at a better time. Budget friendly ones that aren't prickly & huge seem to be hard to find. The makeup shack ones looks good, thanks for taking the time to make this video :)

Are the rephr 15 and sigma e35 similar? I’ve been meaning to pick up the 13 and 14 from rephr sale since I like the sigma e27 e33 and e42 but I also lost my e35 so I was wondering if I should get the rephr 15 too to fill the gap of a larger blending brush for blowing stuff out on my hooded deep set eyes but maybe the 14 will suffice and I don’t need the 15
@afrodykeeism Жыл бұрын
Also is there a hakuhodo brush in the same shape/size as the sigma e27?
@badtothebrow Жыл бұрын
I don’t have the e35 but based on photos it is not the same as the rephr 15, different shapes and materials. Which hakuhodo brush? The e27 is a flat blending brush i dont think i have anything comparable from hakuhodo
@afrodykeeism Жыл бұрын
@@badtothebrow the e35 is like the sigma e38
@afrodykeeism Жыл бұрын
@@badtothebrow also do you find the rephr 14 sufficient enough for blending out transition shades or do you find yourself wanting something like the rephr 15. The hakuhodo brushes I’m considering are the b152 the j242 the g5513 and the j5523 but those will be down the line. Thanks again

The detail blending brush from Samantha Ravndahl's collab set is the closest to Rephr 13. The 13 is a bit more stiff but if you prefer vegan brushes and have hooded eyes then i do recommend Samantha Ravndahl's Sigma set.
