TV manufacturers only put 2 HDMI 2.1 ports because they're limited by the processors that are available to integrate into their TV's. LG makes their own processors that support 4 HDMI 2.1

Nice review...Just got the 65 inch version of this tv to replace my LG plasma TV and I could not be happier. I was also onsidering the LG B2 OLED, but it was twice the price--for anyone considering an excellent 4k for an incredible price, this is the one.

Ya this TV is very nice I'd also recommend the Hisense U8g it has all the same features for around the same price as the TCL I bought the 65 in version on sale and I'm extremely impressed with it they only had the Roku version of the TCL but I wanted Andriod/Google TV

Just returned a U8G for this because of a weird line across the top of the screen and pretty bad dirty screen effect, Hisense is great but they have very bad qaulity control so it's very likely you'll have to replace it once or twice before you get a great panel

I had both tv, the tcl 6-series with Roku and the Hisense. I can say that TCL beats the Hisense by a lot. The black levels are superb on the TCL compare to the Hisense and the 4k content is amazing. The Hisense had an ok black levels and the images did not compared to the 4k. On top of that in less than an year I had to replace the mother board on the Hisense due to green screen sometimes.

I never knew that a game like that can teach you so much and is such a conversation starter with your child and as a father who is happily married, getting to just bond with my son over this game and just learn so much. This game is on a whole other level to me

My wife and I are STILL playing through it. It’s such an amazing game. We sparsely have the time. Hence not having finished it this many month later. I just love playing with her at our own pace though. Your comment made me smile. I’ll 100% be sure to play this with my daughter when she’s a bit older. Thank you so much for this review! While I have the potential to buy a more expensive TV, I feel like my money would be more Well spent if I took some of the extra money and invested in a really good sound system like something in the Sonos ecosystem which I already have a couple speakers for. I appreciate a good picture, but sound is just important to me as I watch and listen to a lot of music and movies and a model like this seemingly is going to do what I need to do as far as giving me that frame rate and HDR that I’m sorely lacking in my current TV and will feel like a true upgrade but give me the headroom to invest in both. I have an older TCL series 6. Recently stopped working, bad power board. Luckily I could replace it myself and saved the TV. So my thought is the quality just isn't up to the top tier manufacturers. Had a 50" LG plasma for 7 years, sold it for $50 over 2 years ago and the person is still using it. Also and the picture is great even though only 1080. As far as picture quality it can't compete with OLED, not even the newer QLED sets. I have a Sony OLED also and the picture is amazing. And the sound also with its screen transducers. With the Sony you can hook up an external powered sub-woofer to the headphone out jack and enjoy awesome sound without having to get a soundbar. Great sound with no visible external speakers, very nice.

I recommend the LG CX (which is older than the C1) 120hz 4k and lovely Freesync/Gsync. Can be found pretty cheap these days and looks insane.

Nah overall good quality tv. It poorly built. Had to get my unit repaired twice and at this point it won’t display anything with out the screen freezing and turning off. When I play heavy games on my pc it will turn off. I’m not willing to risk it fixing and breaking on me again.

The the TCL r635 roku TV available on Amazon and elsewhere doesn’t support 4K 120hz, however the r646 google tv which is exclusive to Best Buy does support 4K 120hz.

I got a 65 inch tcl 6 series with google. The picture is beautiful for the price. It was great for about a month. The CEC/eARC stopped working about a month in. TCL said it was a known issue. They told me that I would have to wait for an update to maybe fix the issue. I was lucky that Best Buy is letting me exchange it with the LG C1. I wish TCL didn’t have a buggy interface.

I have no idea, but when the content refresh's you'll see that pop up, the tcl in sdr and hdr is much brighter than the c1 and has a better sense of pop to its picture because of its qled mini back light. Which makes for better whites & really good black levels. But it's all based off of picture preference.

I got the C1 and while I get the appeal of OLED and don’t feel in the least bit “scammed” by OLED hype, overall I prefer my TCL 8-series that’s been downstairs since 2020. It stands up to bright rooms better and to the average person it “looks” better. I can tell what gets washed out with the extra brightness, but when people come over and see the C1 they usually ask if it can “get any brighter” or if it’s a little dark. It isn’t a dark TV. It’s a dark TV compared to a TCL QLED.

Been looking into getting a new tv. Mine is a tcl 6-series I had bought in 2019. Was a very good screen for that year but i thought it was 120hz..cause where I bought it said 120hz and everything said it was but its a native 120hz which I didnt realize till I bought the series x and hooked it up Saturday so, Tcl has been a good tv and even got knocked off a table on its back on a hardwood floor and didnt break. A few lines on the side but hey. Its still a good picture. So Tcl hasnt let me down minus well stay with them

I gotta say...I own 2 4k/120hz TV's (LG C2 OLED and Samsung QLED)...and I have 2 different HDMI cables capable of outputting 4k/120....and there's yet to be a game I've tried that actually seems 120fps. I tried Doom Eternal and Dirt (the 120fps one...5 I think?) . They seemed 60fps to me. Maybe it's the size of the TV's. Frame rates seem higher on smaller displays. This is due to how far the pixels "travel" in regards to movement. Games running on my 144hz laptop looks so much smoother when I lock them to 120fps.

For this particular model, it can do 4K 120Hz, however, there are hidden issues. When at 120Hz lots of picture processing effects get turned off behind the scenes. The TV doesn't tell you but you can spot it. Also, if you're gaming, the input lag increases.

700 bucks is a good deal. That’s the lowest price I’ve seen on a 4k 2.1 HDMI 120hz TV. I’m buying a gaming PC and moving my series X off a monitor. Was going to just buy a 4k 60hz for a cheaper cost because my higher frame rate gaming will be on the PC but………..for 700 bucks I’d only be paying 200+ more. I think I might go in that direction. There is no direct comparison between the TCL 6-Series and the Sony X75K. I ended up buying the TCL 55" R646 6 series TV. I would highly recommend it! Inky blacks, clean panel, it has great picture quality and so far no bugs or software problems. It takes some getting used to finding the right settings and all but once set up it looks great. I have come across an issue however I wouldn't consider them a deal breaker. Has anyone had reduction in quality when playing ps5 game in fidelity at 120hz with VRR enabled? It seems as though the image doesn't quite pop anymore and possibly a reduction in resolution but hard to tell. Tried with ratchet and clank(very noticeable) and spider-man. Is there anyway to get it looking as good as without VRR while still taking advantage of 40fps VRR boost in fidelity.

Does this tv by chance have judder reduction? When you say "pop" that's what i think of. I know on my Samsung TV judder reduction makes the image pop and look more real, but it gets disabled by default when in game mode. I have to disable VRR to take advantage turn it back on when in game mode. Worth a check, hope it helps.

judder reduction basically inserts artificially generated frames to smooth the image out, but it introduces the "soap opera" effect that I think we referring to when we say "pop". Enabling judder reduction will increase input lag.

thanks@@kxnnibxl i think its more in relation to color and clarity. color becomes muted and the image doesn't seems as clear or high resolution as it does without VRR in fidelity mode.

Better off with a native 4k 120hz gaming projector setup for around the same price. Can’t beat 4k at 150 plus inches

TCL is the best value TVs out there for mid range TV. I bought a midrange LG and a TCL. The TCL is much better in all aspect in term of image quality and also gaming latency. Not to mention GoogleTV is much better than LG's crappy WebOS that have 0 apps. LG is only good with its flagship OLEDs, but they are much more expensive.

LG Nanocell is the best included Dolby Vision and ATMOS also HDR 10+ is great for games at 120fps and can watch 8K videos. This TCL have only HDR but with almost all the features. That’s why is cheap.

Can I ask you a question, on battlefront 2 with fps boost enabled, I loose the ability to adjust the HuD Scale. So basically the scale is blown up out of proportion.
