LOVE the Trail Boss, got mine for maybe $30 I think, such a deal! Does also illustrate why I bring a Silky Bigboy saw with me though. The Trail Boss is capable of serious chopping, overall a great tool at a killer price.

Me too, got 3 more recently. At 25 bucks..so cheap, and i did edge retention between, walmart hatchet, estwing, and this cold steel trail boss is the winner..amazing..mind blowing considering the price.

I paid $25, great deal, but it was ridiculously dull 😮 Had to spend some time to get it acceptably sharp.

The hang on mine is horrible! It’s crooked and out of alignment. Needs rehung before it’s even usable. Other than that, seems like good quality

The handle is crap and once you break it I haven’t been able to find a replacement handle.

Just two part epoxy glue it back together..epoxy is stronger than wood
