Good call on the pushrods. Another thing to add about roller lifters is ZERO cam brake in needed. That alone is a win lol. Man that block makes me miss my 400 that I ran in my El Camino. Nice video take care.

The brown dog was hanging on your every word with ears up, (s)he looked like they thought you were talking to him/her, hilarious.😁 I really like the Cloyes roller cam cover, it's a bit pricey but worth every penny.IMHO Have you ever tried one?😎👍

Yes actually the green Chevelle has one on it. It works well. The brown one is Oliver and he is a good boy. He has to be right by me.

nice tech info tack. Ive got a strip dominator and need a port for a vacume line, should i drill a hole in the rear plenum? My quickfuel E85 850 doesent have vacume ports on the baseplate and i need a modulator and power brake lines. Does Oliver twist?
@tackettshoh9 ай бұрын
You should be fine with drilling and tapping an NPT thread there at the back of the intake. Start with a small pilot hole to guide you. Because it’s kind of a tricky spot to get at!! Make sure you do it off the engine and clean all metal chips of course. Good luck!!

As long as the cam can’t walk I guess it doesn’t matter where the cover comes from…… 🤷♂️ but an adjustable one would be best…..
