Mate, ur gx7 video was amazing. U r meant for bigger things at youtube. With this level of story telling and script partnered with a real photographers perspective, this channel is the best find this year. I ended up getting a gx7, its not as good as my gx85 or g9 but OMG, its great to hold and image quality is great. I love how u call us micro four third losers. A review of g9 mkii someday in the future when mft is fully obsolete, and me still buying old mft gears.

I am a two sensor shooter. I use M43. Mostly Panasonic. Love my GX9 and P 12-60mm kit lens in addition to the PL15 and P25 mm lens. Just bought an Olympus EMD1 Mii with the 12-40mm pro lens. I like M43 for street photography. I also am a Fuji user. Lots of bodies and lenses like the B&W simulations. Still think the D monochrome D is the best B&W simulation I’ve used. The M43 gear is easier to navigate. The low light capability of the Fuji is superior. Choose the right tool for the right job. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

I use a Fujifilm X-E2 for casual photography. And bought the X-T20 for more serious work. It gets the job done ✔️
@DavesWatchLove Жыл бұрын
I just got back from Central Europe and took the X-T20 that I just picked up for travel. And since I bought it, I - sadly - haven't touched my X-T4 since. It's just that good. And I had a blast using the TTArtisans 25mm f/2 much of the time. And paired with the Fuji 35 f/2, it produces amazing images.
@fgj4990 Жыл бұрын
I’ve just done exactly the same. Kind of made my X-T4 a little redundant. That said, for larger lens and telephoto, I prefer the X-T4, not least because the X-T20 is so much smaller that the big lenses look odd on it. Best to pair it as most do, with the smaller pancake lens or the XC 15-45, which is fantastic for the price.

This review deserves more views and likes! Thank you very much for your effort in reviewing and editing 👍🏻 I'm considering now to pick the X-T20

This is also my Main Street shooting camera,. I have and shoot with other cameras and formats, but this one works out best as my go to street companion. I shoot it with the Fujinon 27mm pancake (aperture ring edition), the vastly underrated Fujinon 15-45 mini-zoom, and a variety of vintage manual lenses. I’m also hooked on the unique simulation bracketing feature, usually setting it for Classic Chrome, Provia, & Acros. As far as grip goes without increasing the size, I forego the add on hand grip for the simple but effective thumb grip that mounts on the hot shoe.
@Durio_zibethinus Жыл бұрын
Welcome back! Older Fuji cameras are known best if you treat them like a film camera. The menu is so confusing that it made us fall in love with the manual dials quick. Oh, also the peaking is still functional while recording video, right? Forget about it 😂 6400 ISO and still usable is incredible for the size, something I can only dream about with m43 while traveling to the historical place. See you again in....3 years, perhaps?
@boristakovski Жыл бұрын
Yeah the manual controls really make up for the the confusing mess that are Fuji's menus 😂 Also yes, thankfully the peaking still works while recording video on the X-T20. I think that with how quickly Ai tools are advancing that m43 will be more usable than ever. You can do this already with different tools but I think soon every photo editor will just be able to remove noise and increase resolution with just a couple of clicks and have it look great

With that TTartisans lens you might as well go the whole hog and get the X-T10 for even less money. For a larger body and marginally easier manual focusing, bigger viewfinder and even more tactile dials, all at a reasonable cost the X-T1 is also worthy of consideration. It's ridiculous that the X100V effect has filtered down to other models . I sold my X-E3 for more than I paid for it new. If I wanted to, it appears I can also get more for my XF10 now than I paid new for it and I am considering selling it because of this, but what could I replace it with? The X70 is also suffering from the X100V effect.There is nothing. My X-T20 is the only camera I have kept from the later Xtrans sensors, partly because now I have "downgraded" to the older models I want a back up, partly because the AF is slightly better and partly because I reckon it performs better after dark in B&W (you can easily push the ISO very high). I can't agree more about Fuji's in camera RAW processing. It's just silly compared to Panasonic's and Pentax's, though not too dissimilar to other brands I have tried and unlike some does have more options.

Great video!!! I think Olympus presents the best value. You still get the vintage looks but you have IBIS so you can shoot at lower ISOs in low light. Also you can get motion blur while having a sharp image. The best value is the OM-D Em5 IMO (can be had for like $200 - weather sealed and 5-axis IBIS). I tried the Fujifilm xt-30 a few years ago and I wasn't impressed that much. I loved the dials and the feel of the camera but it felt unnecessarily complicated compared to an Olympus. Also the focus was slower in low light.
@boristakovski Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching the video. I've always had an eye for the digital Olympus Pen-F and I've never really researched their other cameras that much. The Em5 sounds like an amazing camera for that price and I'm totally going to check it out. I think the Fuji is a lot of fun but it doesn't quite match the features and usability that a budget m43 camera can offer.
@FC-uc4uw Жыл бұрын
@@boristakovski I agree with you. I like the Pen-F but for street photography I prefer a tilting screen. If the Pen-F had a tilting screen I think it would be perfect.

Hi there. I'm looking to buy this camera, with the same lens (tt artisan 25mm f2) but someone said i wont be able to mount the lens? They told me i need an adapter (MFT lens to fujifilm x mount adapter) will this solve the problem, guaranteed? or do i need to change my wishes. Also, great video! Thanks :)
@boristakovski Жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for watching the video and for commenting. The TTArtisan 25mm lens is available for several different lens mounts, including the Fuji X mount, meaning you don't need any type of adapter to mount it on the camera. So for example if you buy it off of Aliexpress you just have to make sure to select that you want the Fuji X Mount version and you should be all good, no need for adapters.

Bro I just bought combo that you recommended :)) gx7 vs Kamlan 28mm, but pls tell me between 28mm kamlan vs 25mm artisan, which one is better?
@boristakovski Жыл бұрын
I've taken some of my favorite photos on the Kamlan 28mm, it makes great images and is really well built, the only negatives are it's a little heavy and it flares when at f1.4. The TTArtisan isn't as good or as sharp, it also flares at f2. But it is much cheaper and much smaller and lighter and is solid overall. So if you're looking for something small and compact the TTArtisan 25mm would be the better option, otherwise go with the Kamlan 28mm

At that price it sounds like it comes along with a zoom lens, whereas I got mine for $500 for the body only.
