Lovely work . This small camera is attractive except the absent of IBIS . . I have the older EM5II and is wheather sealed with 5.5 IBIS and guess what 0.74 EVF compare to 0.62. But anyway thanks for you video.

I'm so happy i found this channel. I'm thinking about buying my first camera but I can't decide between the gx7 and the sony a6000. Both cameras are around the same price on ebay. I love the features that the gx7 has but the a6000 has a bigger sensor with a higher resolution (16 vs 24 megapixel). I plan on using this camera mainly for nature and architecture photography which means they should be good in low light situation. I know that sensor size should not matter for a beginner but I do plan on printing the pictures.
@boristakovski2 ай бұрын
I think you should probably go with the a6000 as it is much better in low light and you'll likely want to use wider lenses to shoot architecture and getting a very wide field of view on the gx7 can be difficult due to the smaller sensor size.

What do you think about xt 30 mk ii ??
@boristakovski3 ай бұрын
It's a much more modern and capable camera than the X-T20 while still being very compact and having all the same strengths so if you could afford it I would totally recommend it over the X-T20

Best inexpensive combo is the Olympus PEN PL-8 + Lumix 14mm lens or use the 25mm Olympus.
@lorenschwiderski3 ай бұрын
GX9 + Lumix 15mm Leica lens = awesome MFT combo. The Olympus 25mm f1.8 is great, as is the Olympus 45mm f1.8 and Lumix 30mm macro lens.

@martingreenberg8703 ай бұрын
Not rare. I just purchased backup GX85/9 for $450 & 500 respectively. MPB & KEH good places to start. Go to google and type in the model you want. It will show you several choices. eBay is another choice. Surprised I found a GX85 for $400 at my local camera store. Who knew? Good hunting. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

why do you consider MFT a " loser" ...misfit ???

When I say that, I'm just making a joking reference to a KZbin channel called Camera Conspiracies, who always says "Micro four loser thirds" when talking about m43 cameras or lenses. It's just a silly joke, if I actually thought m43 was a loser system I wouldn't make videos recommending it so much

I still use my GX8 when I want something light after so many years, and it's still very good. It looks a lot like the GX7 but it actually has a flippy screen.
@martingreenberg8703 ай бұрын
The GX8 was the flagship LUMIX camera when released. Heavier than the GX85/9, it is weather sealed and has a 2.5mm microphone jac. For some reason, IBIS doesn’t work when doing 4K video. Not a fan of the flippy screen. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

I mostly shoot on the viewfinder and find it's okay, it's not very high resolution but it gets the job done. I can't comment on the autofocus as I've only used manual focus lenses with the camera.

With that TTartisans lens you might as well go the whole hog and get the X-T10 for even less money. For a larger body and marginally easier manual focusing, bigger viewfinder and even more tactile dials, all at a reasonable cost the X-T1 is also worthy of consideration. It's ridiculous that the X100V effect has filtered down to other models . I sold my X-E3 for more than I paid for it new. If I wanted to, it appears I can also get more for my XF10 now than I paid new for it and I am considering selling it because of this, but what could I replace it with? The X70 is also suffering from the X100V effect.There is nothing. My X-T20 is the only camera I have kept from the later Xtrans sensors, partly because now I have "downgraded" to the older models I want a back up, partly because the AF is slightly better and partly because I reckon it performs better after dark in B&W (you can easily push the ISO very high). I can't agree more about Fuji's in camera RAW processing. It's just silly compared to Panasonic's and Pentax's, though not too dissimilar to other brands I have tried and unlike some does have more options.

Hi there. I'm looking to buy this camera, with the same lens (tt artisan 25mm f2) but someone said i wont be able to mount the lens? They told me i need an adapter (MFT lens to fujifilm x mount adapter) will this solve the problem, guaranteed? or do i need to change my wishes. Also, great video! Thanks :)
@boristakovski Жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for watching the video and for commenting. The TTArtisan 25mm lens is available for several different lens mounts, including the Fuji X mount, meaning you don't need any type of adapter to mount it on the camera. So for example if you buy it off of Aliexpress you just have to make sure to select that you want the Fuji X Mount version and you should be all good, no need for adapters.
