A great video that clearly shows how effective a cooling pad is specially if you can get one at such a great price

Hey Bro, I was just looking at buying this cooling pad so I appreciate the time taken to review this product and I'm dead set on purchasing this now. I also really liked your Lenovo Legion Optimisation video! Many thanks.

Thank you, I was looking to buy this one and glad that I found a video for it. I took a look at your channel and it is really good not going to lie. And the quality of the videos are top I can't complain and you talk slowly and clearly with no weird cringe jokes or ways of talking so the video is even more enjoyable. The silent background music makes it even better. I don't know if I am going to subscribe as I am not that geeky as it comes to PC's but I will definitely show your channel to a friend of mine that cares about this stuff. Thanks a lot.

Earned my sub. Great video - liked that you fixed the fan speed, other testers don't do that. Good methodology!

Would have been nice to see the effect on the gpu core boost clock, missing in your telemetry . Nice bit of kit, but real-world performance gains are practically non-existent. At some points, the hotter cpus are boosting higher 🫣. I think a good laptop stand that doesn't obstruct air intakes is the way to go personally. You were spot on fixing the fan speed. The problem is 99.9% of users won't do this, making the whole thing a waste of time.

There is no cooling pad better than the Klim Mistral, it costs around $60 but it definitely cools. If you want to really COOL DOWN the laptop, then those that don't make any noise don't work at all. Besides no one plays in a laptop with speakers only, everyone uses headphones or external speakers .

I was looking at a Thermaltake Massive RGB for a Legion 5 17" but I was hesitant due to the price at around $50 and the single fan didn't look like it would be efficient for the air intake locations on the Legion 5. The Klim Wind looks like a better configuration as the fans are almost directly under the air intakes and the price is $20 cheaper.
@EngineersZoneYT2 жыл бұрын
From my experience the single fan cooling pads perform much better than the multiple fans one. I did a bit of research and got to know about the volume of air that single fan can push. I don't remember exactly which video helped me conclude otherwise I would sent you the video link as well
@TJWolf2 жыл бұрын
@@EngineersZoneYT I got the Thermaltake Massive RGB its nice. it was $50. i still have to test it out my my ASUS laptop
@rflett57972 жыл бұрын
@@EngineersZoneYT I also saw that video. The issue is that the Legion 5 have the air intakes on the bottom panel in the upper left and upper right positions. It appears that these areas would be partially blocked in the Thermaltake Massive so the extra volume of air from the single fan would be lost.

Why 17 inch coolers for laptops fits at 15.6 inchs some 18.8 or 19 inch coolers(very rear to find) fits at 17 inch laptops.....🤔🤔🧐

Odd to see the fan motor that way around. With normal PC fans that would suggest that it's blowing into the table rather than the laptop

See this is the problem with cooling pads, you either have to have them tilted, which, for me, is really annoying and hurts my wrists after a while, or have it flush against the table which makes it so air doesn't properly come through.

I know right. Yea, its all about creating space underneath. The more space, the more volume of air that can be pushed through the laptop. I have my laptop sitting on two shelf rails from Ikea and you can definitely tell the difference. That said, my Lenovo P52 gets super hot and I'm going to buy one of this KLIMs now.

You won't find a pad that does that ("reverse") because laptops don't exhaust hot air out the bottom. They 99% of the time suck it in from there so these pads are in theory working with your laptop.
