Important: Your laptop needs to have vents underneath it for these two laptop coolers to work nicely. For example, if the vents are on the side or the top of your laptop, the cooling air is not going to do much. Also, running other benchmark programs can provide more specific information, but this is a nice general overview video for everyone. Finally someone who's testing these coolers on a decent modern laptop, most videos i see are just either old garbage laptops that literally need the cooler or low spec modern ones that don't necessarily need it so its hard to put into perspective what the cooler will actually do for me.

I wanted to test it on a modern laptop because they can still run hot. A cooler can help boost the performance: improve the frames, make the machine run smoother, and even increase the longevity use. When editing heavy video without a cooler I can feel the hot air being released, with the cooler much less. Big improvements, even though it's still a modern device. @@jpalacesneakers quick question. Do the usb hub works fine? I tend to use usb hubs to prolong the usb ports life on my laptops (use only one port until it fails and then change to another one). I have a 12 yo laptop that is still in use (my dads laptop) and doing that i still have 2 usb ports working on that one and a 6yo gtx 1050 laptop with all its ports in perfect condition.
@jpalacesneakersАй бұрын
@nstorm2415 I will give you some tips so your usb port connections never mess up or last a really long time. Buy a usb male to usb female, then just place it into your usb port. Then you can plug whatever you want into it and when it eventually messes up, you can just remove it and put another one on it. Mark all your usb cable connections, mark the side that faces up on your usb male (the piece that enters your laptop), then you'll never mess up when plugging devices in since all your cables will be marked. Buy a dongle, it's like a bluetooth connection but in usb form. Just make sure your device supports it. Fairly easy to set-up. Many devices can be bought in dongle form now a days. Lastly, I replied in another comment how I use the usb hub but I will do a video for you when I get a chance, if that helps.

I got the iets gt626, i think the reason why llano v12 has a bit better cooling performance than the iets is because the iets has 3 layers of filter while the llano has only have 2, i think it’s worth considering since they have very strong vacuum on air intake and dust might accumulate very fast. I noticed that in just 2 weeks my filter got a thick buildup of dust already so technically in long term health of the laptop i think iets is a better choice

Hey thanks so much for this review, so between the gt 600 and the gt500 v2, the rgb its the only feature thats better on the 600? Or also the fan?
@jpalacesneakers9 күн бұрын
@ArtemiaSalinaDeGuadalajara I don't own the GT500 V2 so I couldn't tell you with 100% accuracy. But usually with higher rpms, it means the fan is smaller so it rotates more times for the gt500. The gt600 has a 5.5 inch fan so it will rotate less but since it's bigger (I am assuming) it will send more cooling air to your laptop. I like the gt600 intake air better, if you look underneath in the pictures, it's a large circle while the gt500 it's more of a strip. Hope this helps and sorry I couldn't give you a more precise answer

in a tolerable use, because using this fan without headphones will cause ear fatigue and you will notice it over time, the measured use could be with 1200 rpm, in this range the efficiency should be measured, I have the iets gt600 it works but the constant noise It is not something that is good for health.

It's golden with headphones, 100%! I agree, the constant noise of the fans at 2800 rpm can leave that ghost hum that sometimes people experience when they hear a sound over and over and then that sound is gone but the ghost hum is still there. @jpalacesneakers16 күн бұрын
I'm just seeing this! I bought it on Amazon, its mainly heavier duty plastic - good quality plastic - ABS. I did notice that on Amazon, I just checked it right now and it does have metal listed on there. The hooks are metal to help the laptop from not sliding down. Also, to hold the foam sealer in place, there are magnets that are a metal material. Overall, the main outer built quality is harder sturdy plastic with minimal metal on the outside. In the interior, I would not know. Despite it not being metal, it's still very good quality. They probably should change that to not confuse possible buyers. The Llano V12 is also mainly durable hard plastic, almost the same material, just so you know. Hope this helps 👍 👍

I will report back tonight just seen this 👍
@jpalacesneakers3 ай бұрын
It is similar to many other filters: can dust it first, then even run a moist cloth or some water through it, and let it dry thoroughly. The filter is a softer spongy-like material, so it will absorb some water, just don't be too rough and take your time to not damage it. Also, it's a nice detail the cooler arrives with one filter already pre-installed and an extra one in a small bag, so you get a total of 2 filters. With this said, I feel the only option is to re-use the filters, I tried looking online and on Amazon and couldn't find replacement filters. Unless you get a generic brand filter and cut it to size. I too will be re-using the llano filters, just being careful when I do clean them. Hope this helps Ed 👍👍

@jpalacesneakers3 ай бұрын
@user-hf4qo4tf3z I never heard of the ice particles, those would have to be some extreme conditions with moisture in the air. For the coolers at max speed, there can be the possibility that the internal fans of the laptop run at lower rpms and the cooling pad runs at much higher rpms so can cause the fans to not work correctly or if the cooling air is entering in such a way they fight the internal fans in the opposite direction so it could cause them to not work properly. Overall I'm going to say it's not very likely. If it is a concern, best to check the specs of your laptop or even call the manufacturer and get more information to properly have a better idea if a laptop cooler will work nicely with the internal fans. Honey, you have to do the dishes! Turned them to 2800 RPM so I don't hear her. And she cannot blame me. Works well with flight sims! Adding so much reality. Just kidding. They work well because of the foam. With other laptop coolers most of the air flows between the cooler and the bottom of the laptop, because of the static pressure. Use some foam, towel, or what you have available. Check the difference. First step: Normal, so flat on the surface. Measure the temps. Second step: Use a book ( or something else ) to lift the back of the laptop up for better airflow. Measure the temps. Third step: Cheap laptop cooler. Measure the temps. Fourth step: Cheap laptop cooler with towel trick. Measure the temps. If the temps don't go down enough, then consider buying one of these. With MacBook ( or if you laptop has little to no air intake/intake from the side ) remove the bottom. Make sure the foam is anti static!! The Intel ones run very hot. Most of the time the graphics card will die because of repeatedly overheating. So save your Macbook and cool them better then Apple thinks is necessary. I still run a mid 2010 MacBook Pro. I get 22 degr C. of difference ( and I don't have neither of the tested products, just a simple Targus Lap Chill Mat with some wood glued to it ( instead of foam ).

Do the buttons and the scroll wheel look like they can handle the constant change of fan speed? Would be a pain if it was set at high, then you can’t adjust the fan speed because the buttons/wheel does not work anymore.
@jpalacesneakers2 ай бұрын
I've been using at night the lower speeds, and during the day when no one is around the faster speeds. I wasn't concerned about the buttons as much as the wheel, but the wheel has been handling the changes really well. I do change the wheel speeds really fast (just spin it down or up with no regard) and it's been nothing but realiable. I actually started liking the buttons better because of how it looked (more sleek), and the wheel wasn't really my taste at first but now I like the wheel better because of how fast you can spin it. The overview: they both have performed excellent with no issues, very reliable from what I've noticed. I do recommend both!! Hope this helps 👍👍

@jpalacesneakersАй бұрын
@Tendollarplugins That's awesome Bro, I do music too. First check to see if your MacBook Pro has intake vents underneath it. I have a MacBook Pro and my model doesn't have intake vents so a laptop cooler will not work. If it does have intake vents underneath it and exit air vents on the side or the top of it, it's important to know that these coolers make noise. Even on the lowest fan speed setting, a microphone can still pick up the fan noise. And if you do buy one, the noise is going to be there so it's important you audio mix or video edit with headphones, does really help block the fan sound and any noise around you. Hope this helps Brother

i don't care for noises, its like a white noise, and helps me get to sleep, so, im not doing any heavy gaming, though i do have a gaming laptop, and its an MSI laptop, i have to check the thermos on it, and other things inside of it, perhaps remove the stuck paste or something like that, and renew it with the new paste, because the paste on this laptop may actually be dried out, and needs replacing. luckily i have the ventilators on the back of the laptop to keep the hot exhaust out if i do plan on doing any heavy gaming, which i could prolly do, when i run series of stress tests. this MSI laptop will get to MAYBE 100 degrees. and thats not ok. so i have to look into looking into getting the thermal paste and apply them to the gpu and the cpu.

Definitely, check ✔️ the temps and give maintenance 🔧 to keep the laptop running smoothed and long. Re-pasting the thermal paste is great work also, you on it Bro 👌👌💯. I agree too the fan noise doesn't bother me at all. I do understand everyone is different, but when I'm working or gaming I get so into it I don't even hear the fans. These coolers are life savers!

@@jpalacesneakers exactly that. i have a desktop computer. and that is a mid ranging gaming desktop computer and its lenovo. i forgot to mention that. i also have an ecoflow river 2 pro as my source of electricity as well, if the power ever does go out. i will most likely will have like atleast 15 hours of runtime to play with. though i do plan on getting it upgraded. had this thing for the past 7 months now, and still growing strong. so were i go my battery comes with me. sadly i won't have internet with it though. anything above 800 watts the ecoflow river 2 pro will shut the ac power off, preventing it from overloading. i do have an IETS g500 or something like that and its plugged into my ecoflow river 2 pro as well. so its portable were ever i go :D.

@Mega1andy2 I love how you have all the small details figured out for your set-up! 😍 Depending on where you live and especially if there are constant power outages, you can have a system working till everything comes back on. I remember once in our old neighborhood, the power went out. I had some small portable lights and had recently bought a boom box, so I turned everything on and the neighbors thought we had a small party going, it was hilarious. Everyone knew each other so they got a good laugh especially when I looked out the window and saw everyone 🤣
@Mega1andy2Ай бұрын
@@jpalacesneakers hehe yea, i can imagine that 😂 the ecoflow i have does have 4 ac plugs 3 usb type a's and a usb-c and barrel ports. whenever i run the fan i can get like 13 hours of it on the low setting. setting it high 10 hours at least. i forgot to mention that. and yes, i plan on getting an upgraded battery pack. with ac ports and usb type a's and couple of usb type c's as well. i also forgot to mention, that, i was overclocking my CPU. with throttlestopper. with the max of 23 im getting a max temperatures to 70 degrees at least and thats ok. if i overclock the cpu, from 23 to 41 then the temperatures will be just below 100 Degrees. so i dont have it overclocked right at this very moment i turned it down to 23 which is ok. cause the cpu that i have is a i5 9th generation. and the base speed for that is 2.40 ghz. the turbo speed is slightly over 4.04 ghz.
@WildfireX6 сағат бұрын
My question is whats the best option if you want a decent drop in temps with something that sits around or below 60 decibels. 70 decibels is ridiculous if you have a desktop studio mic on a boom arm, even remotely close to the machine.

The IETS is not a good cooling pad, the dust filter does not work and dust creeps in, I found out that the dust accumulated inside between the laptop and the fan! I bought another cooling pad instead. Be careful of dust because this pad has the sealing foam that will trap the dust inside. Additionally, be sure that you can find dust filters available in the market if you buy it, because it is an expensive cooling bad, and if dust filter needs replacement and you are unable to find one, then your only option is to lose the foam and use it without the dust filter as a feature. Overall, I do not recommend it.
@jpalacesneakersАй бұрын
@nadershalabi6241 Appreciate the feedback, great suggestion to check the space between the cooler and the laptop to see how much dust is actually accumulating! It would even be a good idea to check the space between the cooler and the filters. Insights can definitely help everyone!

The GT600 is going to be the easiest to carry since it is smaller in size. They are not heavy at all to carry. Just the size of each one is going to be like an oversized book that is thick with many pages. Hope this description helps. I don't know since I don't have those two yet. Currently, the GT626 is very difficult to get since they are supposedly fine tuning it to make it the best product when it's finally realesed. The previous models are phenomenal, so I'm also curious to see how well these newer models will perform!

@@jpalacesneakers even the iet? I can’t seem to find information about this anywhere. All I’ve seen is people saying it’s a pass through, could you confirm this for me please and get back to me as it’s a dealbreaker, it would mean a lot
@jpalacesneakers19 күн бұрын
@doctorzee1809 Thanks for re-asking, I must have read your question too fast the firts time around. I will clarify. No, the laptop can not power the cooler. The usb-c cable that comes with the cooler can connect to your laptop, and then the cooler turns into a hub that can power 3 additional usb connections. The cooler will still need to be connected to a wall power source using the wall adapter it comes with. Those three usb connections are built into the cooler. You can connect your mouse and keyboard through them. Then, your laptop is not drained of additional power. I'm afraid it is going to be a deal breaker. The IETS is going to be the same. Sorry I misread your first question, I always try to give the most accurate information I can give. Best of luck on the search doctorzee 🙏👍

@jpalacesneakers hey brother the IETS GT600V2 came home. testing the cooler I got amazing results: Specs: Laptop: Asus ROG Strix G16 (2023) [Core i7-13650HX, RTX 4060, 1920×1200p 165Hz 16inch screen, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, 512 GB NVME PCIE Gen 4x4 SSD] Genshin Impact: Max settings (everything maxed out, render resolution 1.5, Antialiasing FSR2, Motion Blur off) Ambient temp: 29°C Without cooler: can get upto 91-94°C in overworld. With cooler at 1400 rpm (50% speed): goes down to low 80°C region, even 75°C at domains and menus. Noise level is tolerable. With cooler at 2800 rpm (100% speed): not much improvement over 50% speed, temps just a bit lower and sometimes goes down to 77°C on overworld, low 70°C at domains. Noise level is insane. While the temps aren't sub-70 like some tests show, it is insanely good at keeping temps low. I love it a lot, especially the RGB. Worth my money!
