Thank You for your honesty. A lot of "tubers" hide their struggles to make themselves look good and make it look easy which is very deceptive. Seeing your actual experience is priceless. I'm wanting to get my feet wet in this biz so it's good to see an expert "struggle" with a real scenario and provide costs that you had to eat in order to figure it out. Thanks again.

Damn Rich. When I used to print my own shirts back in the day, I used old school projectors and chemicals to make the designs and put it in the shirt by screening paint on it. now all you gotta do is print is and put it in that thing. crazy technology.

I just went thru the white toner issue myself....from what I have seen on other videos is that you first off have to make sure the lower platen is heated up before marrying A & B sheets....after pressing you can rub the image...but make it quick and get it pulled apart as fast as you can because it cools and sticks fast...also...as you are separating the sheets you did well in single motion pulling but if when you are pulling it apart keep the transfer flat on the lower platen...I feel that was your issue...if you watch your peel apart on the video you can see when you get to the end of the peel it is lifted up from platen...it may not be for very long but I found it to be true to keep it as flat on the platen as possible....love your videos...keep up the great work and I hope my comment helps you and others...Blessings....

Im new and haven't done any t-shirts (trying to start now) but if the clam shell is uneven i think you could solve that by getting a smaller pad (the size of the image) to place ontop of the big pad. It should in theory even the press. IDK if there is any down side to over pressure.

The problem I have with my budget press is the accuracy of the readout. To get the settings right I had to increase the temp to 330 and the time to 152 seconds. I measured it and compared it to the timer on my phone and found with those settings I was at 312 degrees and 120 seconds. Perfect peal almost every time.

Rich as a beginner: Would you ask your customers to design or give ideas for the way they want a t-shirt to look and try to make them happy? Or just go with your own designs and if they like it they buy it? I'm so worried about getting stuck with a lot of expensive equipment and no way to pay for it. Ya know my buddy Rich it's all about ROI. Have a good one.

Man, I am down the Hustle Ninjas rabbit hole. 🤣 Great job, young man ! Disabled from working a regular job because I can only work when I am able. This really has me hopeful. Maybe not on your scale, but a good way to supplement our income on my GOOD days. One question though ... I am not chair bound, so which heat press is better: Swing away or clamshell ? Also, if I decide to sublimate mugs, would it be better to buy a separate mug press ? I am not keen on removing (or even unplugging) a whole platen so I can press a mug, plate, or hat. Does not seem efficient. Even in my younger days, it sounds ridiculous. I *will* admit I was intrigued at first ... until I realized I would need to take the thing apart and reassemble. 😳🙄 Also, try the Pin Pen. Ergonomically, it seems better for your hands in the long run. On my wish list for sure. Great tip about using the platen to make the vinyl easier to weed !!!
