Got my press just a few days ago. Like the the man said in the video , you have no choice but to figure it out. It's difficult to put your trust in something you are not sure will even workout. But you do anyway, because you have to. I have been watching almost everyone on youtube and everyone pretty much has the same message, KEEP TRYING! trial and error is the best teacher in life. I have ruined brand new shirts and made some pretty decent ones. I started because I got tired of providing my skill and talent for someone else and their dream. So here I am now on the same journey as many of you guys. Good luck , research and practice practice practice!!

Dude, thank you so much. I beat myself up all of the time and I'm trying to utilize all of my potential right now to do several things at once that are outside of my comfort zone. I keep hitting that wall of insecurity and my anxiety takes over and produces these barriers that are simple for the outside observer, but to me are so hard to break through. I'm not used to accepting failures from myself so I've avoided advancing for decades now, because of the fear of failure. I'm glad to see someone successful that says they were struggling with that insecurity of the unknown. Learning to take leaps of faith is kinda new to me, you gave me hope.

@rafaelmonzon5813 жыл бұрын
@@dro258 I gave this advice to someone else in this video. Learn your equipment! Learn the different settings. Cutting glitter vinyl will not go through as easily as regular HTV for this I would advise to set the dial to custom so you can select the right type and the machine will adjust. For your brand if you have one print a couple up for yourself and start wearing it. Take pictures of yourself wearing it and post it to Instagram and Facebook. But most importantly you will find a ton of videos out there and the different ways of printing, HTV, embroidery etc etc DON'T OVERSPEND TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING UNTIL YOU MAKE MONEY OFF OF WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE. These videos will leave you broke if you don't do it step by step. At the beginning, vinyl will be the cheapest way to go just remember how much your vinyl cost. Cutting and weeding will come with dead space cut and save you can you the scraps on a later project. Hope it helps.
@rafaelmonzon5813 жыл бұрын
For clarity on what I said about watching videos will leave you broke. Every video you watch is for our benefit of learning from their experience/mistakes. Some may be that of someone else who was in search for an answer and didn't see one that went into depth of how to, so they made one themselves again for our benefit. Then when you search you'll be tempted to get into that too. Not their fault it's just learning to do this will always bring you to something new. I didn't want to upset no one by not clarifying what I was trying to explain so I wanted to leave off with saying that.

I plan on putting the next stimulus check towards either a print press or a vinyl thing & everything. I'm not worried about the sales right off the bat. I just wanna get a feel for it. I have no experience but I have made a few of my own shirts with Spread Shirt & I get a lot of positive feedback when I wear them out. I also find it fun creating my own designs. I just have so many questions. How do you make your own designs? Like what platform can you just customize your ideas & then transfer those designs onto the shirts? Which one is easier & more likely to stay on the shirt after washing? Print or vinyl? What will I need if I go screen print route & what would I absolutely need if I want to do the vinyl? All of these questions probably have many different answers I'm sure but ehh nvm. Lol.
