Savage is the most accurate budget rifle in my experience, they just came out with new stiffer pistol grip Axis 2, way more rigid. It also has super squishy butt pad that soaks any recoil up, plus the Axis Pro is heavier barrel. My girlfriend's 243 Axis 2 first 5 shot group with Barnes ttsx was exactly 1" on a sled after 3 fouling shots. Let it cool, then 5 more at .73" with 3-9x40 scope is great. The action isn't as smooth as the 110s but for the price she's excited, with a 6-18x50 scope it could amaze me, I'll find out next year. 😉

The Savage Axis bolt lift is always an issue and neds to be improved. Yet my daughter has it in 308 win and its an absolute tac driver.

Yeah it’s pretty bad, but we have an Axis in 270 that shoots annoyingly good.

I have watched two of your video's and you may like the music but it's too loud for me so I find myself focusing on trying to clearly hear everything you say through the music which detracts from the video. I think your video's would be better with much lower volume music or none at all.
