Best Budget IRL Streaming Encoder (November 2023)

TBS 2603 SE Encoder has been the best IRL Stream option for a while, but it's price has more than doubled within the last 2 years, and it's gone out of stock in most places. The ENC1-V2 encoder is the new KING of IRL streaming now.

@@ChristianDanne09 At this point in time i did try jetson nano and orange pi 5 plus because i couldnt get my hands on that tbs encoder and i would say Orange PI is GREAT!! Works perfectly,if you thinking about getting it buy it with case, fan and wifi extension card as a kit,in my opinion you can not get anything better

There seemingly is a V3 of that LinkPi coming, but it'll cost the same and they are offering it as replacement order, if they can't get you a V2. I only heard about that a few days ago.

This product is currently unavailable is there some alternative? I found Zowietek 4K HDMI Video Encoder/Decoder, but i didnt know if it works same... I need something for IRL streaming form my bike into my pc with obs studio. It will works? Becasue i didnt wont build irl backpack with belabox or something like that :D

I read that gopro has huge video delay on video due stabalization - how does this work with a external mic like the wireless rode ones and livestreaming?

It's not a thing, as long as you connect the microphone to the gopro via mediamod.

It does, but it's not ideal.

How so? It has everything build in, up to four simcards with bonding and it runs on its own battery. I used the TBS2603AU for a IRL driving stream last summer, but it was a lot of work to manage power and internet. @@sprEEEzy

M2 might be tougher to handle cause of touch options. Obviously, the newer ones can achieve higher speeds (and 5G), but how much benefit do you actually get for IRL streaming?
