BEST BUDGET LAPTOP UNDER $250! Thinkpad T440p Long Term Review - STILL WORTH IT?

Keep up the good work Udi. I'm currently watching your video on my T440P. I started with the identical model you have in the video, and I've since upgraded the display to a 1920x1080 panel, installed the T450 trackpad with buttons, replaced the CPU for a i7-4702MQ (4 cores, 8 threads), doubled down with 16GB of RAM, and as of last night, I flashed the BIOS chip to remove the Wifi whitelist and add the extra BIOS menus. I've owned this machine since June of last year (21) and it's still a rock solid choice for anyone that doesn't need thin and light or something top of the line. Like yourself, I really love the keyboard, Lenovo hit that one out of the park as usual on ThinkPad machines. Keep us posted on the rest of your journey with the machine, I'm definitely interested.

That's a ton of upgrades... You got yourself probably the best version of the ThinkPad t440p.... I haven't done a single upgrade on mine. But I'm planning on getting the legion y530 for better graphics card and performance Thanks for watching Glad you enjoyed the video 🤗

​@@sIimepainit can be upgraded up to a 4910mq but if you choose this processor make sure to get the dgpu heatsink and use ptm7950 + undervolt it. and it definitely can't game but offers pretty good performance for the money for doing non gaming tasks

Hi Mate ! I'm writing from the same device :) Put in there a i7 4910MQ, 16gb of ram, swap the hdd with a ssd; install a 1080 IPS LED screen; put a new 9 cell battery which will last for 10hours and this badboy it will compete and outperform 2021 laptops
