You can dim the light coming from the light source/screen until it is completely off. Level by level similar to sound reducing, just check the quick start guide/manual

Sorry but this product is 100% wall mountable, it has two inbuilt screw in it but not separated as most soundbars come with the screws in small plastic in the packaging material, well just check in the box you'll find two square mounters which you can install them on the wall then you hang your soundbar, I hope I've answered you well😊

Can someone explain to me how the wifi sub connects on these things? I'll be using the analog in from my Asus 4K gaming monitor, or the optical in I guess if there's an optical out which I haven't checked yet. This is for my PS5 and Xbox which are both connected via HDMI to the monitor. Bluetooth is useless to me cause of sync delays, I hate it. Do wifi subs use BT or a protocol made to connect to the main bar without additional latency? Anyone know? Cheers and TIA. I think I will cancel the order for my Yamaha SRC20A as this seems way better for the same cash.

Via Bluetooth or WiFi, depends on the manufacturer. Can't recall from memory, best checking the specs or asking them to double check - either way, not the utmost best for latency. Wired would be better, which isn't plausible in most soundbar systems.

@@TotallydubbedHD Wow ok thanks. Yamaha looking better again LOL. I checked monitor and it's analog 3.5mm out only so I DO need something with analog in. Sometimes I feel like buying a small passive mixer and using my ADAM studio monitor speakers and SUB 8 wired sub that I use for music production. They will probably sound better than any soundbar I can buy. They SHOULD, at 3 grand (AUD). Was just trying to make it simple for the PS5 and Xbox but I don't know what to do.

@@teddym2808 not gamed on console for over a decade, so not sure, especially that two sources are required. I'd be inclined to say - connect both via HDMI to the TV, then from the TV to the soundbar (ARC). Then your search will be for a soundbar that has a wired sub input - from memory, Creative do it!

​@@TotallydubbedHD Some confusion here. Sorry if I explained it wrong. I do not use a TV at all, I use an ASUS 28 inch gaming monitor. It has 4 HDMI IN and 1 Display port in. 2 of the HDMI in are 2.1 for 120HZ 4K and the other two are 60HZ 2.0 spec ports. I have the series X plugged into the first HDMI 2.1 port and it is indeed working at 4K/120 native, with full VRR, and the PS5 plugged into the second HDMI 2.1 port of the monitor. The only OUTPUTS for audio I can see on this otherwise fantastic gaming monitor is a 3.5mm analog audio out. Therefore the easiest way for me, as I plan to connect a PC to the display port and my switch to the third HDMI 2.0 port (which is fine as switch tops out at 1080P/60hz anyway), is to just take the analog audio out of the monitor and go into the analog audio in of a soundbar. This will then provide audio for whatever HDMI input I am on in the monitor, with one cable. But there will be some quality loss of course, not the end of the world. Because I have studio monitoring speakers, ADAM A7X with a Sub 8, these are ultra high quality audio monitoring speakers found even in high end studios. But they only accept XLR in. What I could do is buy a small passive mixer, just a two channel, plug the audio out of the monitor into the audio in of the mixer, then get jack to XLR cables to go into the speakers which have their own special sub connector (also XLR). They are effin LOUD, and so clear, but also this is a bit messy for just my gaming consoles and is going to add to my already cluttered clutter. I am trying to find a HDMI splitter that is 2.1 spec that can take all the HDMI ins of multiple consoles, then one single out to the monitor, and an audio out on the splitter itself, a digital one. Plenty around but for HDMI 2.0 only. A 2.1 one would solve the issue, take the optical out from the hdmi splitter and go into optical in of soundbar. No quality loss like the analog method I am currently using and also much easier to switch between consoles on the same input. Hope I explained it in a sensical way this time.

@@teddym2808 ah ha, yes sorry you did mention it, but good to get the extra detail. Yup, 3.5mm out is your only option here. You will get massively degraded audio performance though, and it won't be surround either. Also, I presume you know this, but it's also good that you're not plugging into the soundbar either, as most (unless high-end) don't have HDMI 2.1 ports.

How would you rate this for £129 versus the Denon DHT-S316 @ £179? It’s not much more money and comes from a good name but seems to be only 120w so I have my doubts before buying. Also, just to clarify.. are you saying the Creative V2 is slightly better at bottom end bass or the HS218? Edit: Decided to get the Sharp HT-SBW460 for £199 as it’s 440w with Dolby Atmos with the sub rated at 120w. The only downside is that it doesn’t have up-firing speakers (but apparently does a good job at convincing you it does) and the subwoofer is a bit overpowered unless you have a large living room (fortunately I do)

Can't say I'd recommend the Sharp (reviewed the SBW480 and it was poor). Given the price point you've now gone up to, you should have bought the Majority Sierra Plus.
