I highly, highly, highly doubt the FE version will run cool. There's a reason the AIB manufacturers increase the size of there cards by a lot on average. If keeping the card small and sleek looking was feasible within their expected performance range, the AIB people would do it.
@Michael_mki23314 күн бұрын
Let's come back to this when we get independent reviews of the NVIDIA design and see how hot, or cool, it runs. See how this ages. Cause I hate to break it to you, but dissipating ~600W of heat in an air cooled 2-slot design is a very tall ask.

@alihammad631814 күн бұрын
@@ZNLBailey It should run pretty cool, all those heatpipes and a significantly reduced resistance to airflow (dual flow through) should make it extremely efficient. 575W should also not be what it pulls in gaming loads, should hopefully be a bunch lower. Won't be the coolest, seeing as surface area is lower, but I think it's misleading because the fins are absolutely massive and cover a vast majority of the card. AIB's do huge coolers as it's cheaper, watch the Der8auer breakdown of the FE card, it's extremely well engineered, but that costs a lot of money to do something exotic. I'm studying heat transfer for my aero eng capstone and you can do a lot with some smart engineering.

2:35 Independent of the position of the connector, I think a ARGB input is an awesome idea. If every product would have this, you could just use your controller of choice and be done with it. HOWEVER the plug looks strange for me and I don't think it is standard ARGB, so maybe it is a fail after all.

Posing a thought for consideration: What if the 5090 & DLSS costs were split & separate purchases? Therefore the hardware is 70% of listed MSRP. Then you have option to buy DLSS as an add on plug in for 30% of the cost? Keep in mind the % split is example purposes. But just assume whatever the % is for DLSS is based on the boost to fps performance. Would this change to value perception?

At CES many companies will have hotel rooms to function as quiet demo spaces outside of the show floor, it also allows them to control who has access, providing media outlets with more dedicated time/space to focus on their products without background distractions. Some companies choose to forego the main show floor altogether, just having a hotel room during CES for their specific niche product.
