December will be cold.in Kashmir..i am not sure how warm your puffer jacket is but this jacket along with two inner layers will keep you warm in Kashmir..if you have a good warm jacket then you can add two inner layers like fleece and sweater then you are good to go with that

You can buy a jacket which has -5 degrees Temperature protection for Sandakphu Trek and add two layers inside it however if you want to do more treks in future it's better to invest in a -10 degrees jacket .

Hmm that's a tough question....teeno trek apne aap mein best hain...agar bohat jyada snow dekhni hain to Kedarkantha but Kedarkantha mein Himalayan peaks k view summit se hi aatein hain usse pehle nahi...agar best Himalayan peaks dekhni hain to Kuari Pass..Kuari paas se better Himalayan peak views mene kisi trek pe nahi dekhe...aur agar aapko Himalayan peaks plus snow dono ka maza lena hain to Brahmatal...kaun best hain ye batana bohat muskil hain kyuki teeno best hain ❤️

@@TrekwithIslam hi buddy thanks for replying so I'm stuck in this dilemma, i am going to har ki dun in last week of may and i have one fleece jacket and i had to buy another layer, either a padded/down jacket, but that is costing me 3000 with -5° and this jacket which says its a winter jacket is costing 3300 with -10°, now my first question is, same as before that if i buy this and wear it directly above a fleece jacket, i won't need a padded/down jacket right? And second question is since I'm going in summer and next few treks which I'm planning will also not exceed above -0°, i still plan on going on alot of treks, so does it makes sense of buying it right away, or should i invest in a -5° padded jacket and then buy this later when i do a very cold trek, is there something like if the temperature is 0° and I'm wearing this jacket so it'll make me very warm and sweaty.? I'm sorry i know its a very long question but if you could just help me out with it, I'll be very grateful.

@@Sevenele1 Hey thats a really good question..so i would suggest you to buy this jacket instead of -5 degrees down/paded jacket because this jacket is wind proof and water proof...coming to your point of overheating after wearing this in summers, so you dont always have to wear this jacket while trekking you can take it off and put it in your bag or tie it on your waist when its too hot...weather gets cold at night and you are going to need an extra layer/warmer inside this jacket besides a fleece...dont worry just go for this jacket as it is an all season trekkimg jacket and its worth every penny trust me

Hi..You need to add atleast one T shirt and two fleece under this jacket for a trek like EBC..adding a down jacket is optional because it will be expensive and you should avoid spending on expensive down jackets. fleece are quite cheap in comparison so buy that..I have created a video on my channel on fleece you can check that out.

I got this jacket as birthday gift from my wife and I returned it. It's a very good jacket for treks but I feel it's not foldable and may take larger space in backpack. What do you feel? Can you pack this in small size? Please suggest. I really liked the jacket and wish to have one..but confused..

Hi..Yes it's meant for Treks but you can wear it in cities during winters as well..As far as folding it is concerned I always carry this in my backpack by pushing it roughly inside the bag at the top of everything so that I can quickly take it out whenever required..to be honest it does take some space but not as much that you will not be able to pack other things..it's a good investment which will help you on your trips to mountains 🙂

Yes Bro this is a 100% water proof and windproof jacket...having said that ,you can't replace this with a raincoat since it is a jacket and not a rain cover so buy accordingly. If you are looking for a water proof jacket and not rain cover then go ahead and buy this one..it won't disappoint you

Hi Nikhil Bro.. Yes winter jackets are usually a little large in size as you have to wear one extra layer of T -shirt or Fleece inside the jacket. Although if it feels too big then I would suggest you to exchange it with 'Medium' size and compare which one is more comfortable for you. 🙂
