We use two in our church and they are the best for the price. They only require one AAA battery and last a long time. Our's does 80ft range with no problem.

@@exclusivelynyc If you are using this mic on the pastor and it is going into a board for church, then you would just send an out from your board to the recording device. If you are using this mic just for the recording, then you could go straight into a computer with a budget audio interface like this amzn.to/2qoi7a7 and record on the computer

This system may not be the best for you since you can't change the channel, you may need something more customizable

You could use this system, you just need to make sure you buy sets with different frequency bands. Buy one set with the "A&B" option, and one with the "C&D" option

Okay, so I’m trying to do some experiments. I want to build a wireless microphone into a bullhorn (megaphone) and use it live during sessions or performances and whatnot. Do you think the signal won’t be catched if the mic is in casing like that?

It is nice but you cannot change the channel. If you have other churches in the building and has the same channel, You will get their signal which is really annoying

That's true, if you have other churches in your building, you'll need to spend a bit more for a more versatile system

@@TgifchurchCoUk If you need to change channels i'm not sure. check out some of AKG's other wireless options. If you need really cheap there are a lot of cheap generic wireless mic sets on amazon
