I love it man. Gosh, getting the parts together to build the 12v setup. Seeing these videos gets me pumped for when i can finally get out there. Trying to learn as much as possible through research and small trial and errors on my own house.

That's the best way. When you finish your house go wash a friend's. Then family. Once you wash 3 or 4 they're all the same

@@YoungAmbitionYA thanks for the response brother! I’m up in NY for my other business this week, maybe into next week 😂 really want to check your rig out so I build mine correctly… I would pay but I don’t know if that’s something you’d be willing to do 🥲 A bit of a late ask anyhow and it all depends on the schedule for me.

Hey man quick question about your photos, what do you use to combine your before and after pics into one image? I can’t figure it out and I like the quality of your pics. Thanks again

It's called Layout. It's an Instagram collage maker app from any app store

Hi Y.A. Congratulations on bid...Looks great. Question: I know is best to wash a house (downstream) with 1.0 - 1.25%. Is 0.8% good enough? Or will it require two passes when downstream? 🤔. Thanks Michael C - (WA)
@YoungAmbitionYA2 жыл бұрын
Not sure. I'd like to try a smaller injector soon myself. .08 is probably fine for most things. 1.25 struggles with lichen but eats everything else. So .08 will be similar

I order some different downstream injectors to test them out with my machine. Thanks
@toddluns12 жыл бұрын
While using 5.5-8gpm machines you will actually pull more SH by using a 1.8 injector. Newbies think using a bigger injector pulls more, but it’s the other way around. Use a downstream bypass as you will lose some flow because of the restriction in the injector. I’ve only been doing this for 21 years though so don’t listen to me…

@@toddluns1 Hi, Wow! Perfect timing with this message. I received my new 1.8 chemical injector yesterday and did my draw test today. You're right it works great. I have a honda gx690 8.5 gallon. I'm using 10% (SH) and with my 1.8 injector I'm drawing 1.11%. Perfect to do house wash. Pretty cool. Thanks for the information 👍

How long and how did you get over the fear of wrecking stuff like ac units soffits ect. Metal in general? Also I have had some trouble with weep holes in vinyl siding. Any tips? A video on all the little tricks you have learned to make you confident and comfortable would be amazing! I’m just getting started here in Mn. Thank hanks for the content sir!

Experience will help you more than a video. I didn't get my confidence from a video I got it from dozens of jobs and seeing what sh affects and what it doesn't. The truth is if you're careful sh won't hurt anything. Weep holes are annoying and will always be a factor. I don't go back for them if the customer calls. I just explain it's dirt leaking and for them to spray it with a hose

Great videos this is my first year in soft washing using 12 volt 5.5 gpm washing and rinsing but one of the biggest problems I have is window streaking even though I rinse over and over.. any solution that you can help me
@YoungAmbitionYA2 жыл бұрын
Hi John. Try using less soap. Extra soap means extra rinsing. Rinse the cracks and seams of windows and casings thoroughly as well as everything above. You may think rinsing the glass is enough but that's not where the streaks come from. When you turn the corner of the house or even the corner of the block as you drive away, and soap and water hiding under the siding, the soffitt, the gutter will leak and drip. The house drips and drains for hours after you leave. I always hammer above the windows while i rinse.

I know it’s not the ‘exciting’ part of a video but you don’t show any of the plant protection? Wetting down plants and flowers etc.. would be cool to see how you manage it as part of the job. Cheers as always!
@YoungAmbitionYA2 жыл бұрын
I don't show it because there's nothing to it. All you have to do is spray them with water. Nothing more nothing less. Plant protection is more about understanding your bleach mix and knowing you have the right %. I don't worry about plants for a second

I am many hours on a pumps...3/8 only hose and there has been no issues...not necessary to mix hose sizes. You will learn that pressure washers have never ending ridiculous suggestions on equipment...just ridiculous what they can come up with,
@YoungAmbitionYA2 жыл бұрын
That may be true. But the pump sounds and flows better with the 1/2. The other day I needed to flush a downspout and only took off 50ft of 3/8. You can tell a difference vs having the 1/2. Packs way more volume into the line. Like I said in the video, not necessary but it does help the pump
@jimmywarren66852 жыл бұрын
@@YoungAmbitionYA I agree, it will flow more...but it doesn't prolong pump life. And, I ain't dragging around any amount of 1/2 hose for a little flow advantage. I get by fine with 3/8 hose.

No one said you had to. What you do is fine. What others do is fine too.
