Have absolutely no idea why everybody in the comments is so down on Sony. They have some of the best image quality, color science, and auto focusing on the market. Plus they allow third-party lens manufacturers, so you don't have to pay through the nose for our namebrand lenses.

Im doubting between the R10 and R50 Its a significant amount of money in the difference. I currently have a 550D with a few EF lenses so anything will be a massive upgrade really. I dont plan on shooting sports or cars. Itll mostly be nature, bit of wildlife and maybe some portraits (but mostly nature like wildlife and landscapes)
@amateurgamer1499 күн бұрын
@@XSatsuriku In my country, it is almost 200$ difference. But recently I got a deal about Sony a6600 which is at the same price as Canon r50.

I'm just starting photography and have a budget of around £600 and have seen second hand Canon EOS RPs at around that price. I think that's gonna be the camera that I end up going for but I'd be interested if you have any opinions about it?
@ladyethyme8 күн бұрын
I have one of those. Absolutely fantastic little camera. Absolutely genius adorable camera. Ergonomics are great, picture qualities is great, but there is no image stabilization. But keep in mind, it is not good if you're doing fast action like sports, kids, or wildlife that's moving fast. I got mine for 599 American dollars refurbished from the Cannon website directly. Also keep in mind this is a full frame Canon camera. Which means they do not allow third-party lens manufacturing. Which means you're going to end up paying more for Canon namebrand lenses. This doesn't mean much, if you're only going to be needing a couple of lenses. Which is what I use it for. But if you wanted to get some high Zoom lenses, etc., you're going to pay brand-name prices.

That is such a fantastic choice! I can't comment on the price because I dont use british pounds. But the camera choice is fantastic!

I mostly snap on phones and I had really gud understanding of fundamentals of camera and composition, and I'll snap only photos not videos. I'm really interested in landscape, long exposure, timelapse, bracketing of shots and alot of street photography, initially I looked at fuji xt1 but maybe a6000 feels better option. But I don't know about other cameras that might have the options and features that compliment my style of photography, maybe olympus, canon, Nikon, Leica. So pls help me with this! And my budget is 600€ with lens included! And I'm thinking used gear is better and don't know gud sites for that, I live in Ireland ( which has some breath taking environment for photography).@@TechThroughTheLens

I previously bought the Canon RP, but I didn’t like it. A week ago, I bought the Sony A7 Mark IV, and it's one of the best cameras for both photos and videos, with great third-party lenses. I really loved the camera, and it brought back my passion for photography. Goodbye Canon, hello Sony 🔥🔥😍

For that the camera is less important, it is more important to have a wide angel lens. Like a 14-16mm lens. Any entry level camera in the last few years can do a good job. My persona recommendations would be the zve10 mk ii or canon r50/ nikon z50 ii

@TechThroughTheLensКүн бұрын
So you have a few options. My first recommendation is the richoh grii or griii those are the BEST street cameras. But they are 1400 dollars. SO kind of on the high side of a budget. A more budget option would tbe the canon m50 or the sony zve10 . Both shoot at 10fps and have a fast auto focus Do not buy the zve10 mark ii or the canon r50. Not good for street at all even though they are newer.

So was this a Sony commercial? The best bang for your buck and quality of photo is the LUMIX S5 II for enthusiasts and professionals. If you need a beginner camera go with a point and shoot. They're en vogue again.
@TechThroughTheLens7 күн бұрын
You do realize the lumix autofocus and frame rates are much slower. They are better video cameras than photo cameras....
@KelsJune11 күн бұрын
Sony picture quality is bad relative to price. Lumix S5 II is better. S9 is better for beginners as well
@B_22_58 күн бұрын
Lumix only makes sense for video shooters and even then I wouldn’t get an S9
@TechThroughTheLens7 күн бұрын
Absolutely not true. Lumix had bad color science until recently, as recent as the s1h the colors were not great. Also you have worse autofocus, slower frame rates and worse low light. And the lumix s5ii and s9 sensor is a retuned a7iii sensor. I am not saying they are bad cameras, but compared to a a7Iv/ nikon z6 iii r6 ii . the lumix are much better video cameras

Hmm 3:11....actually the sony a7cii is weathersealed bruh
@TechThroughTheLens12 күн бұрын
its has dust and moisture resistant but its not weather sealed. Weather sealing is a very specific type of sealing. It mean water can literary go into your camera and the camera will be fine. The a7c ii can get water on the lens and body content but if you cannot get water into the camera.
