I’m about to upgrade from the 80D to the R7 or perhaps the Nikon Z6. I feel like the R7 is the best bang for the buck at $700 and it is more camera than I will need for a long time.

video popped on at an interesting time for me. It was selling for $820 on ebay from a certified seller due to a 20% off coupon. Despite owning a R5m2, R6m2, R8, and even an R10 I just had to get the R7 to stop using those horrible LP-E16 batteries. Looking forward to using it, it's suppose to come in this week.

I have a Canon R7. If I could go back to when I bought it, I would pass. I owned a Nikon Z6. It was better than the Canon 90D and the R7. I would say it was my favorite camera. I should have stuck to Nikon. Canon is really going downhill. Plus, the nonsense over the RF lenses and 3rd parties. 3 new Canon RF lenses and totally out of my price range. 😕

Do you suggest to go with r 10 if price difference is 250 euro (talking about 18-150mm kit combo for both)… or should I wait for r10 markii???

It depends on what you are doing. But the r50 isnt worth the 250$ savings. If you want to say money you might aswell go all the way down to the r50 . The min reason they made the r10 was to give you a 24mp camera that shoots fast. But The r7 is so much more camera for almost the same price

Does the sigma 150-600mm lens work on it?

It can be used with the EF-EOS R adapter. Also, it's not the best choice as it suffers from focus pulsing issues.

as @teej626 stated, it can with the adapter and there are some focus pulsing issues. However, if you don't have much of a budget, it's still workable. I've been using this combination for a little while and have gotten really good shots.
