Hey ants drone, I’m having a hard time transferring video and photos from my aircraft/goggles to my iPhone photo app. I’m only able to view the footage when I have everything powered on, and I can only view the footage through the DJI FLY app. Any thoughts?

are you able to open the DJI Fly App on your iPhone while the drone is turned on and connected to the googles? You might be able to do it that way. My only other suggestion would be to take the SD card out of the drone and transfer the files to your computer. Then you can send them to your phone some how with a dropbox link or something similar.

I just did my first recordings today. They are MP4 format but the files are huge? An 11 min. video is 2.6 gigs...is that normal? Is there a way to make them smaller in size or would that effect the quality? Thanks for the video! I don't think youtube allows for videos that big. Oh, is there a way to adjust the screen size to crop out the props?

lol 11min 2.6 gb? its not normal, no - it should be much BIGGER. You must be recording in lowest possible quality. 4k/60fps video of 3min 11seconds = 3,7gb. like did you expect a crisp footage and then its weight similar to 500mb 720p YT podcast that you downloaded to watch on your phone? People lack common sense seriously... Yes there is a way. You type same thing in google and you got about 6 videos just on the first page explaining how to do it in about 1:30min. I just checked.

@@galimirnund6543 in the camera settings it's called distortion correction to crop out the props. As for video size you can use .mov , the creator is a bit ignorant to video. However for a smaller file you can use software like davinci resolve which is a free video editor. It has features to optimize your video for youtube when you choose how to render out your file. There are tons of tutorials for davinci on yt , too.

To be honest with you I don’t know, I would never use this drone for photography so I’ve never tried to figure that out. I’m sure somebody has a tutorial on it, sorry I can’t help!

What settings would it be so you don't see the propellers in your videos? I did my first flight yesterday I also used manual mode as I found that easier but want to know how is there a way to take the propellers from view. Thanks

If you go into the settings like Aman suggested you can turn distortion off and then if you still see them a little bit you can edit them out in post production by cropping in a little bit. I hope this helps!

Do you mean while in flight or after? I find the footage looks unstable in flight with the goggles on, but after it comes out smooth. This is partially due to a setting on the drone that I turned on. I believe it’s called smooth steady? It really makes a difference!
