The front flip over the hot air balloon made my stomach drop. I don't know if they are as fragile as they look but I could just imagine puncturing the balloon and plummeting to your death.

Low flying is something I often notice from DJI FPV footages, good to hear more about this explained!
@quadroneld3 жыл бұрын
at 0:51 you are talking about flying low with an FPV drone, personally I think this is the most beautiful thing to see. Especially if you fly through small spaces or through small openings. It all comes down to your flying skills whether you fly through the opening or crash..

Congratulations on your videos, always very useful for us who use Dji Fpv. I wanted to ask you if after some time you have found your best setting with the rates and if with this type of stabilization not yet perfect you would recommend a gopro 7 black mounted on the drone or if with a little practice you can achieve the same results. Thank you!

Where is inverted split-s? It's good for going under obstacles and then roll ( basicly powerloop with bailout)

great video , and lovely shots from the Balloon. I'm already trying all of these with the DJI, my favourite is the Split-S :) how low do you usually go? Im doing something like 2-3m, at the moment, but it feels like it could be lower ... but given Ive already crashed when flying low, im building up slowly. that said... Ive just bought a 5" Diatone F5 - I felt like the risk of going much further with the DJI FPV was a bit high, and had started to hold me back a bit. (Idea is I'll still use the DJI for longer range stuff in the mountains, where the safety of RTH is very reassuring)

Awesome video. I have been on the fence with this drone but after watching videos it does look awesome. I did originally go the analogue route just because everything is cheaper and will learn fpv on my analogue before ever flying the Dji Drone in full manual just because I would be scared to crash it. I have been using tinywhoops and not long brought a nazgul5 that I'm hoping to try soon.

Hi Mike, to be honest when I watch you videos I start to think that lining up a cinematic shot is as difficult as some freestyle proximity flippy floppies. I never manage to get that cinematic feel as in your shots :) On the moves - you are right, hitting gaps with that drone probably is not the smartest thing to do, so I would replace no. 5 with a simple flat yaw spin. Usually you use it to track an object as you pass by, and has that cinematic vibe.

I finally got this drone and I love love love it but it's one drone that I will not invest in career fresh it's just not worth it the repairs are not that expensive. I find it very difficult to do an orbit as in a camera drone orbit.

You sir are far more Brave than I am with mine, for no other reason than that front flip over the hot air balloon and all I could think about was myself driving into the balloon popping it and plummeting to a terrible death. I got my fpv so I could fly without the fear of dying but apparently the adrenaline is a tough drug to chase, huh? 😉
@DroneSupremacy3 жыл бұрын
The adrenaline rush was huge, yes! But it's hard to pop the balloon with just one hit of the drone, it can take a lot more than that, so no worries :)

Does anyone know of a sim for PC that does NOT require the net to use? I tried the DJI flight sim and it requires a net connection. I spent 1200 bucks on this thing... dammit!! I just want to use it on my offline PC... it's so disgusting what these tech companies do now. They want ALL your information!! Spy on you... get your freaking bank info..where you live etc. I'm sick of it!!

Well Mike, I am about ready to return my FPV drone. I thought DJI was the king of drones. I am so disappointed. Poor instructions on how to charge the drone, controller and the goggles. I been lucky and turned the goggles on twice in 24 hours. Now it wants to upgrade the firmware. By the time my iPhone downloads the 300+mb the battery on the goggles is dead. With a $149 backpack I paid $1202 for this drone. Instruction are poor and I will have a cable running from my face to a battery i will have in my pocket for my goggles. This drone better fly itself to justify the price. Is this the best DJI can do? Anyone please tell me how you upgraded your firmware!!!!
