If you are using the 4k adapter you dont need to record to the sd card correct? assuming your using something like obs to capture it

For long podcast purposes, why not go with the a7C rather the a7iiin since the C doesn't have a video record time limit and can also use the Sony lens lineup?

You can play the start and stop game then sync it all in editing, or you can buy a more expensive camera like a Sony A7SIII or FX3.

I appreciate the camera recommendations, I own the ZVII and the A7III. But you mentioned something in the beginning of your video. You brought up the auto shut off feature. That's what brought me to this video. That's the issue I'm facing with the A7III. I use the dummy battery and the camlink but it still cuts off at about an hour. Sometimes we go a little longer than that so I'm actually looking for a camera that doesn't have a shutoff at all that produces similar quality as the A7III Any advice there?

We used to run into the same problems with the Sony A7III. The truth is, that's an amazing hybrid photo/video camera, but to surpass the 30 min recording limit, you pretty much need to upgrade to a better body like the A7SIII or FX3.

When I use the A7III the video is slower than the audio I recorded separately, any suggestions on how to fix that? I record the Audio separately on the Rode Caster Pro II😊

Kind of wild how expensive most of this gear is. Especially considering getting multiple cameras for several angles. The "prosumer" Sony camera needs a bunch of work arounds to shoot long 4k video? Why not just use a phone at that point? LOL

Mine overheats at 30 so I have the change the battery and let it cool off. But maybe the dummy battery would save that

@@CamboGlobeMedia there’s a setting you can adjust in the menu that increases the temperature tolerance and will keep the cameras from overheating in most cases. If you are shooting outdoors on a hot day, they may still overheat.

It boasts some features that are maybe better than the a7iii. But the sensor on the camera is a crop sensor, so you don't get the full frame. But it's selling points are: -It has a FLIP SCREEN!!! -Megapixels: The a6700 has 26 MP, while the a7 III has 24.2 MP. -Autofocus Points: The a6700 has 759 autofocus points, more than the a7 III's 693 points. -Video Capabilities: The a6700 is rated higher (91%) for video compared to the a7 III (56%).
