Glad I found your video will be getting a x3 soon. Little tips with the gussets and clutch will be helpful.

Thanks for taking time to do this video. I have the exact same car as you and your recommendations are excellent. I like how you separated them into 3 categories. I live in PHX and go to the imperial sand dunes as well. Good times! 👍🏻

I’m from Kentucky ride year round. there’s typically a road around the deep Mud holes. We don’t just ride in mud bud
@gregneville89442 жыл бұрын
No offense meant. I think that mud bog stuff is awesome. I'm just saying that guys who know how to modify their cars for that kind of abuse are WAY above average and don't need my video. :)

that is the same ACR I've had since my buddy Kevin died in a off-shore jetski incident back round 2010.

Great video and very helpful.👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Do you do any riding in SD? Alpine? Truck canyon etc.
@gregneville89442 жыл бұрын
Usually Ocotillo and Glamis, but I did recently take the X3 to Corral Canyon and Pine Valley which was fun! In those locations, we are usually on bikes.

Great video. Do you have a tools/recovery gear video too?
@gregneville89443 жыл бұрын
Thanks, but I don't. I really only have basic stuff like a strap, jack, little shovel etc. Most important is some kind of satelite beacon like I reference in the video, if you are gonna go WAY out there.

I meant to add that the gusset kits upgrade the front suspension to "double shear" which is their primary purpose. And I also added ( and recommend for those with heaters or stereos ) the following dual battery kit. kombustionmotorsports.com/products/utv-stereo-can-am-x3-2nd-battery-kit?variant=32767058739248¤cy=USD&gclid=CjwKCAiA1eKBBhBZEiwAX3gqlwO3GxFuFDe2lCXsZiiaW9o81eXebypBEr132QMK_ISUSP4j8cwNNRoCPzkQAvD_BwE

Nice video Sir. Where can I get the S.O.S beacon unit?
@gregneville89443 жыл бұрын
There are several out there, but this is the one I have. www.amazon.com/ACR-ResQLink-400-Buoyant-Personal/dp/B07PPJ8RRM/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Acr+beacon&qid=1630079000&sr=8-3

out of all this info, I'd like to know how you mounted that light onto the roll bar? And what size speakers you're runnin?
@gregneville894410 сағат бұрын
The dome light comes in a little clip that just uses Zipties to the rack. And here is the Stereo: rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/x3-stage4/

If you can afford Can Am X3 trust me, you are not the average guy! :)
@gregneville89443 жыл бұрын
Lol. Fair enough. But I am definitely average for a SxS owner. Some people really go crazy!

Curious. How do you clean the inside of the Ride with the Rockford system in there. You cant just hose it down in there can you??
@gregneville89442 жыл бұрын
Yep. It's all marine grade. I don't BLAST it with water... but technically, you could. That car has sat out in the pouring rain on a few camping occasions, and no issues.

Helpful, no tuning on it?
@gregneville89443 жыл бұрын
If you mean on the motor, no. Completely stock, which in my opinion is plenty fast and strong for most folks. I did, however do the Fox recommended shock tune. Vid here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKK5mnucaayInrc

Need a cage.. stock cages crumble.
@gregneville8944 Жыл бұрын
I don't think stock cages are THAT bad, but I do agree with you that a cage is a good idea. Certainly for the above average driver whose gonna be traveling at speed.
