You suppose to put the pcie cover inside in order to screw it down.. but i agree with you.. trying to insert back that pcie cover is a pain in the ass

yes i tried that too but my unit wont let me. possibly my unit didnt pass the qc.

i just bend the top and bottom edges of that pcie cover. you need to insert it from inside so you can screw

I have a Sapphire Pulse 5700xt, and it's hard to install and remove the GPU. Whenever I need to install the GPU, the shroud scrapes the back of the case (near that stupid bracket cover). And whenever I remove the GPU, it is so hard and tight as well that the PCIE GPU clip comes off with the GPU. One day, that clip would break off for the last time. As for that GPU bracket cover, I just screwed it with the GPU bracket screws.

I have the same case. You need to put the GPU bracket from the inside and put the screw outside. It also confused me at first. 😂

ive done that bro, the top screw fitted for a moment and the 2nd screw wont just stay put , both tends to just loosen when i keep starring at them haha then ocd - to perfection still keeps bugging me. anyways maybe is just my unit is faulty. but thanks!

I have the same problem putting back the cover for pcie, specially if you have a huge gpu since you have to install it from the inside but the solution is to cut both ends of the cover enough so you can slide it from the outside.

3:15 the screwed metal part should be inside not outside, then screw it from the outside
