gamefreak1296 Yeah, they keep adding increasingly obsolete concepts into their cases. Some folks like flashy stuff and I get it, but in the interior, minimalistic design usually yields much better air flow and modding options. I love to see how several manufacturers are skipping the 5" bay for oldschool optical media, how their side panels are no longer supporting fan mounts and choose keep them smooth and silence-oriented, how they are trading that annoying bunch of metal that were the drive cages and now instead just adding 2-4 hidden at the bottom. Man! I love clean design.

ImAzraa I was nearly prepared to switch my Enthoo Luxe for this case, but sadly the Evolv ATX doesn't support a 420mm radiator like the Luxe does. It also doesn't support an optical drive which is slightly disappointing. I would like to see cases give you a removable optical drive bay as default that will allow you to install a 140mm fan in it's place. This would allow you to use a dual 140mm design if you have an optical drive OR a triple 140mm design if an optical drive is of no use to you.Those are my only gripes with the chassis though, aside from that it's perfect!

Premium material and build quality, great cooling, cable management, and internal layout. Useful, intuitive features to help with airflow channel and space management. This is a hell of a good case. But that price tag though...

Please Phanteks, please.. A Blackout edition! Also, I agree with Dmitry... It takes ZERO extra cost to add an LED on the power button. I feel the top would look much better that way. Other than that.. I never expected Phanteks to screw this up. and they didn't. Great stuff as always.

You can install any OS this days with a USB flash drive, so yea dvd drives is not really needed this days, they would probably disappear in a near future.

Geez this case is amazing. Steep price though, $180 is quite a lot. Can anyone recommend me the perfect ATX chassis that fits very large and long graphics cards with LOTS of space, some included fans and a side panel window? Edit: One that has at least One Drive Bay. How am I supposed to put in my Fancy Fan controller or my DVD Drive, it's gotta be at least one or the other. And I don't think I will custom water cool, so I think any case with space for a 240 or 280 rad is good enough

Captain Leerox For the market that this case is going to be selling in, $179 is a damn steal for it. This is an incredible value in the high end / large case market. I think Phanteks really hit it out of the park here.

Captain Leerox The price is a premium, but $180 is quite good for a case of this quality. Considering that it's fully aluminum, that aspect alone would've put it in the $200+ price range. And then there's the modular drive mounts, modular top radiator/fan mounts, swinging side panels on a hinge, all that watercooling support, and even interchangeable power LEDs. All of those things definitely should put this case well over the $200 price point, but it's still $180. So that's just amazing competition from Phanteks once again!

Think I found my new computer case for my next build. I use Phantek fans in my Rosewill Thor v2 and they're remotely quiet, but everything else inside it is a hassle and cluttered. Great review!

I bought one after watching this review, I just built a rig with it yesterday, and it's amazing ! The best case on the market, and really deserves the price. The only con I have is the SSD mount on the side. If you are using a Samsung SSD, you are going to be forced to flip the SSD upside down, hence, the Samsung logo will look upside down. I tried to keep it upright and squeeze the SATA cable through a tiny hole in the right (between the ssd and front panel) but it's too tight for the SATA connector to go through. I had to eventually mount the SSD in the caddy.

I used a Samsung ssd also but just run your Sata cables and power through the gap by the bottom fan gap you have plenty of room it looks cleaner you don't see the cables and you don't have it turn it upside down

Just waiting for the Evolv ATX tempered glass edition and I will be buying one. I like that there's space for two Hard drives in the lower part of the case as well as 2 SSD mounts behind the motherboard tray as well as one SSD mount on the other wise of the case where the Plexy glass window is. Lots of flexibility with 2.5inch drives in this case. The only concerning thing about this case is RAM clearance when you have a radiator installed in the top, you'll need to have low profile ram installed like the corsair ram that you can see installed in the video. I currently have HyperX Predator 2400Mhz ram and the heatsink installed on it is almost double the height of the RAM's PCB itself. Therefore I'll be limited to installing my radiator on the front of the case instead of the top, not a big deal tho with the 3.5 and 2.5inch bays all over that I mentioned first, leaving enough room at the top for some 140mm fans instead. Stunning case imo, probably one of the best looking cases around. Been looking at getting one for a very long time now.

Amazing case, I love the hard drive mounting system, very innovative! I still use an optical drive on occasion, but that can be attached externally. I wish there was a bit more ventilation at the top for exhaust, but it seems designed well enough for a water cooling kit with fans pushing the air through a radiator from inside the case and dissipating the exhaust from the top exterior. Other than these minor nitpicks, it seems perfect.

Excellent case with lots of possibilities for watercooling, although i still don't like that the front looks like the bottom of some other cases.A touch on the expesive side too, but you get very good quality overall.

Just received mine. Thing is tough, you can't use anti vibration mount on the rear and good luck finding some small enough for the front. The screw mount on the rear is weird too, The screws head supplied with the fan are almost two small, making it so if you don't position them just right, they will go through the mount. Also, the fan they send me aren't PWM. Their normal fan that you connect to the PWM hub. At that price, these are kinf of weird oversight.

White version please. :) The green finish would look cool, too. I like the drive brackets - clean and minimal - with good airflow. Hope the connectors that hold the panels on are high quality. Sliding panels with thumb screws on the back would seem to be more secure and durable - with a slot to slide the front dust filter out. Other than that, looks great and well designed. The competition has some catching up to do.

Dmitri something that I have noticed about your reviews, sometimes you miss where there are gaps in the air filtering. For example, after watching your reviews i though the Enthoo Pro and the Enthoo Luxe were fully dustproof! I was dead set on buying one of them. However after watching other reviews, I realized that the pro and the luxe both have intake gaps on the sides which are NOT filtered. You should have caught on this and pointed it out man. You have the best case reviews, no reason for missing such important points. Dust proofing is a major concern for people buying a case, please cover them all in your awesome case reviews. Lastly, thanks for all your videos!

+Blaugrana well those small side vents could be covered with tape and that won't affect much of the intake if at all, maybe he just forgot, he is a human so he isn't perfect, although he mentioned it on Enthoo Pro M review.

+ThePolulos see the thing is the open vents are a pretty big problem if you want a dust proof case, as most people do. The reason is that since the filter as small holes for the air to flow through, the resistance is greater than the resistance from the wide open side vents. This means that air will PREFER to go in through the open side vents rather because it has an easier way in. This makes the front filter almost useless, it still filters air, but not nearly as much as goes in through the side. But yea i guess you can cover them yourself, though a customer shouldn't really have to do this. Also, i made a mistake in saying the Luxe isn't dust proof. It's 100% dust proof and i bought one :)

Wow Dmitri, it's not often these days that I see a company respond so fast to input from it's customers or come up with a 'new' approach that really surprises and pleases me. And yet.....Phanteks has done both. I really like many of the features of this case but the real reason I would buy this chassis over others is to support a company that shows itself to be both innovative and responsive to the community. $180 is high for a chassis these days but I'd gladly fork it over for Phanteks. Thanks for a great review but....no scratch test lol? Don't feel bad Dmi....I wouldn't try that on one this nice either. So....what are you going to put in yours?
