I'm so glad you're tackling these topics. Most everyone else seems to think nobody ever commutes on their bikes or doesn't mind looking like a tool when they arrive. Everything is all uncompromised sport gear, cruiser gear, or off-road gear. Seeing moto gear that doesn't look explicitly moto is nice.

I've got the Outlander GTX boots. Can confirm, they're incredible. They're legitimately comfortable for walking, not just comfortable for-a-moto-boot. And the BOA system is strong, simple, and I never get hot spots.

I've been using the Outlander GTX boots since March of 2018 and have been very pleased with them. They are my commuting boots. Very slick on ice but otherwise a solid boot and zero issues with the BOA system.

My dad is 5'5 and he is riding ADV since '95. You can shorten the rear shock, lower the front one and adjust preload settings (if possible) so you can touch the ground while on the bike.
