Good vid, just one critique I have is no 3 O linemen lined up or 3 d linemen lined up to pressure the qb right away. Gives the qb less time to throw when being pressured, requires wr's to run more precise routes, but good vid overall =)

benandreas369 You caught on to us! haha. Our rules were built from the ground up, even our scoring is different than regular football. When we were testing out the rules at the start of the league, we experimented with having a line and not having a line. We didn't have enough people that wanted to play line all game, so we had to make adjustments and it just became a core part of our rule book and the way REFLEX Football is played.

Not hating cause I would love to play with these rules, because their was too much contact to be a legitimate flag league combined with runners jumping to avoid their flags being pulled and dives into end zone both illegal in legit flag, but my hats off cause this version is way better! :)

James Stricklin I greatly appreciate your feedback and insight. Even though our rules allow for more contact and freedom of playstyle, it's interesting to note that in our 4 seasons of play, there have been no significant injuries as a direct result of our gameplay rules. We've had a couple injuries due to diving (to pull flags or catch passes) and occasional player running into another player, but none from diving into the endzone, stiff-arming, or even blocking. I actually never realized this until reading your comment and sitting back to think about it. I made the rules this way because prior to starting the RFL, I had played in other "legit" flag football leagues. So I took out what I didn't like and added what I did, and out came RFL. In some ways, but on the flip side. Defense can jam receivers, and are allowed to hold on to players to pull flags as long as it's not overly aggressive. There's a bit of balance.
