I’ve been using the Eucerin Baby Eczema Relief Body Cream & I personally think it’s the best ceramide-containing cream I’ve ever used for my eczema! It contains ceramide 3 and colloidal oatmeal. It’s labeled for “babies,” but that won’t stop me from using it!

Love the cosrx honey ceramide full moisture cream! It's great for dry skin..leaves it very dewy feeling without being greasy and I think the honey in it prevents breakouts as well :) more moisturizing for me than the cerave.

For some reason I recently stopped using the CeraVe that I had and tried out some of the other products you have recommended. Since I stopped using it, the redness in my face has diminished a great deal so I'm not sure what's going on there :). Anyway, someone sent you some QV products from Australia to try out so I picked up the bath oil for first cleanse and an Ultra Calm Moisturiser and was blown away by the change in my skin that I experienced. These are products that I have constantly over looked due to being so misinformed about the ingredient listings so thank you so much for taking the time to make all your video's and changing the way that many of us view how skin care should be. I will look forward to trying more in this range, confident that my face won't fall off and continue to look for more of your suggestions from this video. I have some BioDerma (the pink one) on order so can't wait to try that too!

Great suggestions. I’ve been using the Omega + Complex Serum by Paula’s Choice. It contains Omega fatty acids as well as ceramide. I like to use it right before my moisturizer. A little goes a long way, so the price really isn’t that bad. Thanks so much, chickadee🍃🌸.

Totally enjoyed this video. Interesting alternatives to CeraVe but I have to admit I am a staunch CeraVe fan. My second fav brand is the Aveeno with Colodial Oatmeal. Will check out the ceramide cream. Love too that you gave a shout out to Bioderma Atoderm. It's a great line for dry/sensitive skin especially their PP Baum, the only body moisturizer that controls my KP...fantastic product. Thanks and have a happy week Dr. Dray!

I started mixing 3 pumps of CeraVe am, spf 30, with one pump of Cetaphil, redness relieving, spf 20. It doesn’t peel on me anymore and has slight tint, not too yellow, more neutral; no stinging either. I use it as a second layer after Ella MD UV sport. My skin type is oily, acne prone, dehydrated, rosacea prone.

I was looking for an alternative to Cerave AM, and when I saw that La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair UV, it felt like it would be a decent alternative (especially because it also includes ceramides and niacinamide. Nice to see Dr. Dray thinks the same :)

I pretty much only use CeraVe and Vanicream products at this point, and EltaMD sunscreens. I don't mind the Aveeno products you recommend either, but I wish they were more conscientious about removing fragrance from their entire product line. Same goes for Neutrogena.

I started to use moisturizers with niacinamide and would get some stinging and irritation. Then I went to Hawaii for 12 days, and maybe it was something about the humidity, but now when I use those same moisturizes, I don't have the stinging and irritation anymore. Its been about 6 months since the trip. I don't know why, but wow!

Thanks, this is very helpful, am using the AM / PM cereve and loved hearing other choices. Love the Hadolabo cream in past, will try this gel. I love the sound of the First Aid brand and will try with my 15% discount at Sephora. I was so surprised to see you mention a product by Missha. I have been using her BB cream, #21-light/beige pink (they also have #21 light beige, you have to make sure it states pink to get the pink undertone). As always another excellent video - can't get the Aveeno Therapy in the UK or the Toleriane Double Repair (although there is a Toleriane sensitive cream but don't think it's the same one), did find the 'First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair' though and got a good discount (Yay) so ordered two. I've been using the 'Hada Labo Perfect Gel' since watching your video and I can honestly say this has made an enormous difference, I can't stop telling anyone I meet to use this on damp skin, it really is quite amazing and excellent value for money. I had the same problem with the Cerave AM moisturizer pilling up so now I use just the PM with a separate sunscreen and like it much better. I've tried A LOT of different daily moisturizers with ceramides and honestly Cerave is the best for the money. The active ingredients are always in the top five where they have the highest concentration. I'd love to see these products go cruelty free so everyone can enjoy them.

I love using the LRP Toleriane SPF and then adding a light dusting of Bare Minerals Mineral Veil over top just to take away some of the shine. I feel like it gives a 'dewy' look. It seems to hold really well with just a light dusting whereas mineral sunscreens (Elta MD+Niacinamide) pill and separate from my skin throughout the day!

I have no problem with Toleriane Daily Moisturizer spf,it goes on smoothly, does not ball up or too thick,&absorbs into my skin quickly,I have been wearing this daily since it came out.🏡👒👒👒

I recently tried Holika Holika's Good Cera... together with Pyungyang Yul's stuff it's among my favourite kbeauty products so far. I want to try the rest of the Good Cera line in the future in fact but I'll also have a go with some of the things in your list. I like ceramide products in general I guess so thanks for this!

@@anonymous6594 true, it contains a few flower oils but really there is no overbearing fragrance I can smell in the cream for example (I personally dislike fragranced products myself... being a man most "men" products are packed with perfume to make them appear more man like which is a really ridiculous marketing habit if you ask me). Also I do not have sensitive skin.. but yes naturally fragranceless would be best for sure. The effect on the skin is really good tho.

The best Ceramide serum out there is the serum contained in Elizabeth Arden Ceramide capsules, best on the market!! BTW, I only use non-nano Zinc Oxide.

I have rosacea; and my skin doc has me using Barrier Renewal Complex, as well as a Daily UV from EltaMD. I’ve used it for about 6 weeks daily, with no stinging or irritation. My skin is dry, and fairly sensitive. So I’ve tolerated it well 👍🏻

KamaroPayne my dr started me on Elta with the 46 spf and I had the worst reaction around my eyes where my eczema likes to flare up. Ugh.... I’m trying to use it up on other parts of my body. Lol.

I just tried the Bioderma and I have been "self-diagnosed" with Rosacea. Story Story: I was starting the beginning of a flare, getting the dry pimples (that are not pimples), slight swelling and itchiness so I slathered this stuff overnight and BAM next morning my skin was feeling so much better and the bumbs had been reduced to almost nothing! It is heavier than the LRP pm which is my normal everyday moisturizer but I liked it. feels like a LESS oily, heavy and gross version of Lipikar AP+. Definitely try. 👍

Hello Dr. Dray. I didn't realize Aveeno Eczema Therapy Daily Moisturizing Cream has ceramides in it. I enjoy this cream. It has a soothing quality on my skin. Thank you for recommending it.It helps my very dry skin.

Definitely trying the Bioderma. If it agrees with the skin on my face, that would be a very cost effective moisturizer, and I could also use it on my body. They have a matching shower oil which I was also going to try, but unfortunately they added fragrance to that one 😒
