The weapon could actually be Uranus still, but maybe the power source is either dead or really has been lost, and Vegapunk simply created Mother Flame as an attempt to recreate the unknown power source available in the void century, but it's only good enough to use very rarely, whereas the original oowr source would likely be able to power it infinitely (maybe with luffy's Nika fruit as some have speculated in the past) allowing it to be used continuously. Would be cool to see Luffy use this to kill Imu and destroy the red line. Also as far as Garling goes, I'm convinced he's either an older uncle or the grandfather of Shanks. Especially as a celestial dragon, he should seem young for his actual age, which if that is even remotely the case, he's gotta be at least somewhere between 80 and 90 years old

Shanks' father looks like a MOON (crescent moon) and Shanks was wearing clothes with MOON,SUN and STAR print when Roger saw him in a chest in God Valley. I know it's pretty much implied that Garling is Shanks' pappy. But I think it's an interesting detail.

That would make a lot of sense, then the revos would be right in assuming that Vegapunk wouldnt create weapons of mass destruction for the world government. He maybe unknowingly gave them this mother flame without knowing they could use it to power Uranus.
