People please note, that the maximum range is projected while someone 165lbs is riding the scooter, using the slowest mode. If you're heavier, and riding on the maximum settings, it will vary heavily.

I bought my Hover-1 11/18/22 at BJs and going up hill takes awhile. It’s digital. The handle you push down on to accelerate near handle bar is nice but does not slow down your speed like the scooters you use in the streets using the brakes is scary to use especially if you going 16mph. The folding and unfolding is hard not as easy as mentioned in this video. I’m 5’9 @230lbs pretty strong so if I’m struggling imagine someone who’s not as strong. Con-- folding and unfold very hard,,, going up hill goes verrrrrry slowwwww,,,, flat surface slow start Pros-- $320;;; not heavy when carrying,,,,looks slick

I place a REALLY high value on the maximum weight capacity of the scooter first. Why? Simple, full grown adult, plus backpack for work or school on an electric scooter can put those little motors under a heavy load and the advertised specs are going to be useless once you start putting a heavy load on the scooter. Weight is my FIRST consideration, can it handle the weight of me and my backpack for getting to and from work. Next I would say is a tie between top speed and range. If it's not able to go at least 15 mph under load what's the point? A human can run at about 9 mph. Bicycles typically hit 10 to 20 mph and a scooter should at least be able to go as fast as an old school pedal powered bicycle. Range is important too, because what if I go to work and on the way home decide to run a few errands? So I want it to be able to handle at least 15 miles just to be safe. Next is charge time. If it can't be fully charged in 6 hours or less I'm NOT interested! If I forget to charge it one day or something ride it to work it I should be able to plug it in at work and have it fully charged by the time my shift ends! After all that now the nice accessories come in. A seat is a nice feature, lights, a key to start it, collapsing down to the smallest size is nice. I would REALLY like to see a scooter with a shoulder strap, so once it's dead or I'm in an area where I can't use a scooter I can throw it over my shoulder and carry it that way.

when i shop for e scooters i look at the price, the range, and the speed as well as looks. If you live in Canada, however, the Hover 1 Alpha has a built in Bluetooth speaker.

You should also keep in mind the proper helmet protection for scooters. The ideal are nta helmets like xnito or bern hudson, most bike helmets don't protect you on escooters

For any1 on a budget and can’t afford £1000-£2000 /$1500-$2500 on an e scooter and want good quality. Then my U.K. people look no further then the HITWAY H5 and for my Americans it’s called EverCross. Same e scooter just diff name in diff countries. It costs £500 in U.K. and about $700-$800 and here’s what you get. 800watt Single motor 10.5ah battery giving 16/22 miles range 24/27mph 3 gear modes Fast acceleration Dual front and rear suspension 10inch air filled tubeless tires Fairly wide foot deck Flashy leds of side Turn signals Key ignition Option to use included seat Front and rear disc brakes Incredible smooth ride Oh, 1 thing to note for anyone interested in buying this e scooter When I bought it, it had air filled tubeless tyres and now they changed it and added solid tires. I hate solid but if you like them go for it. Otherwise, try and find the older version with air tires if that’s possible.

the mileage on all of them are fake or you have to be like 100 lb or less... i used to own 3 different models and only got about 7-8 miles max.. i'm about 160 lb... the battery WH size matters a lot for mileage so if you see one with less but claims more mileage is BS..

Yeah. It's lit. The horrible reviews are of it breaking. Probably people going HAM on them. It's well built. Is pretty damn quick for my 230 lb body. And it can go pretty far. Overall it rides really smoothly.
