Camiguin has always been favourite place of mine - and I've been going there since the Eighties. Unique in many ways.

hi dan. i would appreciate and find interesting if you could mention cultural or moral differences or tabus that one should know about. ex. clothes not to wear, religious Symbols, maybe things that are normal in the west and are rude there or vice versa, if topless is acceptable, etc...

Vagabond Awake I visted in 2010 and paid 200 pesos for the trip from land. Don’t know what it would cost today. I took some great pictures of the mountains.

It is very common and honestly not best thing trait for Filipinos is when you found a girl you may like and maybe marry. (For a westerners) there’s a chance that the girl’s family will ask you for financial help. Some may think of you an an ATM machine. So beware. Not all Filipinos are like that, mostly families who are less educated and less financial stable. So better do a background check haha

True ... all over the world. It is not just the woman you need to think about but her family culture.
