This is our favourite Chinese place in town. My family and I have been visiting here since the early 2000s . We visit regularly even now, when we wish to have a family dinner and don’t want to experiment much with restaurants, this is our go to place. There is a certain comfort and warmth we enjoy here . Rightly mentioned they have maintained the quality over the years. Glad that you covered this place, cheers !

I think Fried Rice color is almost correct because it should be fluffy browny golden coloured ❤ Because I saw some Chinese Cooking skills when they made fried rice

been there once with my friend long long back. I generally try to avoid this place as i find the place to be a bit congested, the ambience not too good, and they dont derve alcohol. Food was okayish.

Mandarin is really bad now. I ordered takeaway one evening from the restaurant and the chicken sweet corn soup turned into gross gelatinous chunks the next day after refrigeration even after heating it up. Just wanted people to be aware.

It's actually not considering the portion size...for eg for half plate they serve around 8 pieces of chicken or fish pieces which is good for two...a full plate is enough for 4

I strongly disagree. I’ve been having food at both places for 16+ years. You’ll get more options at Hatari but I think Mandarin is the best .
