Best Christmas Windows in NYC: Saks 5th avenue

Where are the best Christmas Windows in NYC? One of my favorite spots for the best Christmas windows (and a light show too) is Saks 5th avenue for sparkling window displays across the street from the Rockefeller rink and Rockefeller Christmas tree. The theme is Theater of Dreams, an ode to Broadway glamour. For the first time in 94 years there are even digital animations in some windows, skip ahead to 2:38 for these windows! I love all the decorations in the windows, some of them are so creative. My favorite would be the one with the vintage suite cases or the sowing one towards the end. The Christmas season is always so amazing and fun time of year.

Thank you for the vlog. I enjoyed it (and didn't even have to travel to New York to see it). Personally, my favorite window was the one with the two male mannequins with the trunks (they appear to be in an attic, but I'm not sure). However, overall, I am not too impressed with the window displays. This attempt at a monochromatic approach with models who are border line anemic seems to me a bit of a cop-out. It's nice for one or two displays and that's about it. More variety in the window displays with a more technicolor approach in the choice of color would have been my approach. And although I realize these stores are really not geared toward children, it would have been a bit more in the Christmas spirit had some of their windows had a more child-like approach. Furthermore, with today's technology, I believe the windows could have been more spectacular in the special effects department-though I realize the expense this may entail. Thanks again for sharing!
