If it’s regular animation, you’ll need to bring the character in your sequencer and key things. Otherwise, you can use Take Recorder if, for example, you want to use its Animation Blueprint

If you are animating characters, would each individual character have its own sequence in the Master Sequence?

You could if you use a specific sequencer per animation for your character. You can recall it via a Subsequence track!

Thanks for your comment ! This is just my way to name Shots and sequencers. I used to start with 10 and leave extra space between shots (10 to 20) if I have, at some point, the need to add extra shots. I will add for example, Shot0015, without having to rename everything.
