I have bought and sold many sling bags in the past for my travel vacation sightseeing trips. And the two things that I absolutely want and need are the back zipper pocket to keep my passport safely and an external water bottle mesh pocket. A passport is still needed in lot of countries to enter in different tourist attractions, especially when you have pre booked the entrance tickets. The rest I can work with whatever space it has in the middle and front pocket. And another nice to have feature is the slim profile that hugs my body and does not look bulky. And I am still looking for a compact sling bag that has these two features that I can wear all day during my trips. Any suggestions?

Would it fit a canon r8 with a 15-35 mmf2.8? I’m looking for a bag like this to take to Europe and to double duty as a single camera carry bag. Thanks so much I really liked the video!

Thank you 🙂 Your camera may be a tight fit. My A74 is quite a squeeze. My APSC Fuji fits though. You may want to check out the Peak Design slings - I have been using the 6L for my full frame cameras.

Hey Dave appreciate the videos you out out here for us to make an informed purchase decision. I would like to ask you, if you can only pick one sling which is either the Alpaka Bravo Sling Mini V2 or the Bellroy Venture Sling 6L for daily and travel use, which would it be and why? Thank you very much
@david_does7 ай бұрын
Hey! This is a great question. I have been using my Belroy sling a ton over the last few months. This has outweighed my other slings by far. I think this is due to the fact that it expands outward when needed but stays slim when it is left rather empty. I hope this helps!

Love the review! Can you fit a camera comfortably like the Fuji xt30 with a lens attached ? Or the x100v?
@david_does8 ай бұрын
Great question! So my xt30 II fits well in here. I do use a pancake lens so that helps. I assume the x100v would fit as well (I don't have one to fully test it though).

Hi! Great video and new subscriber. I’ve had 2 different sized Tom Tocs and currently an Inoteck. I like the Inoteck, but it’s too squatty and wide. It makes the bag fill up too fast. I think it actually has too many little crevasse and zippered pockets. It makes it hard to remember where everything is! I think I like this Bravo V2!

Thanks for subscribing 🙂! That is good info to have - I really need to try out Tom Toc.

Great video. I'm a big fan of Alpaka products. Would love a video comparing the Alpaka Vertex to the Alpaka Elements Tech Case please. Thanks for all you do and your consideration.

Ooo this is a great suggestion! I have been eyeing up the Vertex due to it's unique layout.

@@david_does I'm not having luck finding anyone who has done a direct comparison between the two so it may be the first.

The only thing I don't like about Alpaka products (and that won't stop me from buying them), is the bright orange color. I wish they tried to use some bright yellow mustard color like some other brands.
@david_does9 ай бұрын
I could see that working well! One of my non-Alpaka bags has a very light grey which is nice. Easy to see but not super vibrant.

I have the V1 and my Fuji X100VI just barely fits inside but since the bottom is so narrow it rides more towards the top which is not really comfortable, is the inside main compartment bottom deeper on the V2? I love the V1 because it's super comfortable but I sure would like the get the V2 if my camera will fit better. I noticed you have Fuji but you didn't mention it, and I know my X100VI is smaller, but will your camera fit if you only have the camera in the main compartment? Thanks for the review as well.

Hey Dave, thank you for the review,. How do you compare this with the Alpaka Air Sling V2? Can you do a side by side review?
@david_does8 ай бұрын
Hey, that's a great idea! I may have to film a short about this. I have a few other videos I'm currently editing and working on keeping me busy. However, a few quick words - this bag seems to have a bit more storage than the Alpaka Air Sling V2. It also feels a bit better across your chest when loaded out. You can't go wrong either way but personally I lean towards this one here when heading out with my gear!

Would you recommend this bag for carry on use on flights, traveling abroad, etc.? Just curious since I have the metro sling but I want another ALPAKA bag that can carry a lot more. Also, love your editing, very well put together and you went into depth which earned yourself another subscriber. I hope to see more ALPAKA content in the future!

Thank you so much - I really appreciate that 🙂! So I have used it on flights to carry my phone, keys, wallet and headphones. I really like it just like all my other ALPAKA gear. I can guarantee we will see some more ALPAKA gear come across the channel!

Will this fit an XT 50 with a 35MMF2 lens without taking it off if not, which of the alpaca bags will fit it looking for something minimal and not too bulky

Great video! Do you think this could fit a Fujifilm XT5 with a pancake lens? Thanks!
@david_does5 ай бұрын
Great question! So my A7IV + pancake fits right in the mid section. It is a bit of a tight squeeze compared to some other bags I have tried. If you aren't going to load it up with other stuff you should be alright. If you get one you should try it before you remove the tags. In other situations I have tried our Alpaka bags with gear I wasn't sure of and returned with no questions asked with the tags on.

You might want to work on your voice sync with your lips.

DJI wireless mic dropped a few seconds making syncing not work. Unfortunately I didn't have time to fix the few cuts out of sync before heading out on a trip. Needless to say I've already replaced that whole system. It bothered me to no end lol.
