Best City in SRI LANKA! - Galle, Sri Lanka

We spent the day visiting Galle Fort which quickly became our favorite city in Sri Lanka thus far! We were so impressed by the vibrancy that we decided to take you guys on a Galle city tour! See the Galle Lighthouse, best places to eat, and the famous fort along the waters edge.
One of the best places to visit in Sri Lanka is Galle, a colonial fort city and the largest city in Southern Sri Lanka. We started the day flying the drone on Galle beach which looked to be a fantastic getaway spot for tourists and locals alike. We met a really nice Sri Lankan family and it was nice to get some warm Sri Lankan hospitality!
We then headed to the famous Galle lighthouse, which we’re sure you’ve seen all over your instagram feed. The Galle lighthouse is the southern most tip of Galle city and serves as a big tourist attraction right on the water.
After the lighthouse, we headed over to the Galle clock tower to see the actual fort which was first constructed by the Portuguese. The fort was massive and we had a great time exploring that part of history from one of the oldest cities in Sri Lanka.
By this time, we’ve worked up quite an appetite so into the city we went! It’s the colonial charm that makes Galle so special and if you want to explore Sri Lanka in a more modern way, Galle is the city for you. With streets upon street of cute local shops and restaurants, Galle city has everything you need for a holiday or day long visit.

Your explanation on the Sri Lankan busses is 100% accurate. They do drive really fast. Galle is my hometown and you should see how these drivers drive in the interior parts of Galle, where the roads are super narrow. Btw, awesome video.

Well, even I cant argue the fact about bus drivers😂😂It could reach to a level of fury when it comes to a race between Private and CTB buses(Red buses).👀🤦🏻‍♂️As we know they get some kind of penalty(like skipping turns) if they won’t be able to return in the given time.🤷🏻‍♂️ Btw your Vlogs are amazing man!! You guys just said exactly what's wrong with Sri Lankan bus drivers. Kudos. Time stamp at 7.06. We are still tryna figure out what the heck they earn by going so fast, and why the heck the bloody things are so tall. I mean, you only need tall buses, for the under- hood luggage space. But, these things have only two small spaces underneath. It is a hazard for any old person or child to go in.
