As you said that in 3rd year not everyone gets psychology as a main subject as the seats are limited per clg for the course. Is that the case for every colleges (In Mumbai)? Also, if we are not chosen for those limited psychology seats. What would be our degree called? Ba in psychology? Or just BA??

It’s depends on college to college, it will be BA in whatever you specialise, if not psychology they’ll give you something else like history/ economics etc

Because it hardly matters if you do your bachelors in the same when you can actually do masters directly without wasting more 3 years into it. I had some session with one of the counsellor and then I changed my decision from doing bachelors to doing masters in the same subject. :)
