can't help but notice inpa has a lotta incompatibilities listed down below on it's page. stuff like combat mods (lists pretty well all of them). Big oof towards a couple other enai mods with revive features here and there unless you disable inpa's own: stuff like sacrosanct vampires if you wanna use them and andromeda lover stone. theres probably also a thing or two sneaking around as revive mechanics in apocalypse and/or ordinator too. uh, mortal enemies is directly listed as incompatible and you've got it in the video also. although theres load order that can help it win out, seems like it could get salty pretty quickly with a lot of the favorites...

Finally, a Modding KZbinr that honestly cares about improving Skyrim and crafting a much better experience. I've been watching a few of your older and newer videos, i especially enjoy the dark souls and witcher ones, you do something that few modding youtubers do. I and a lot of people love MxR, but i think just, taking a half serious look at new mods isn't what everyone, or i, want. It's good to show us what mods have come out, but few youtubers have shows us what the mods do for skyrim and how others can synergise with each other. Keep at it, my Brother, the halls of Modding Sovngarde await you.

I see MxR as more along the lines of entertainment while this channel seems like a good place for more in-depth looks at modding Skyrim. I should clarify that I do also find this channel's content entertaining. I just wasn't sure how to word what I was trying to say.

Thanks for the shout out. Good to see another quality video feature combat mods as combat was the least developed area in Skyrim. I knew about the potential years ago, but only managed to make it available to average modders recently. I would like to take this opportunity to give a shout out to Zartar, another pioneer in this area, who has contributed a lot Thanks to all who have been supporting nemesis. While it isn't perfect (still in beta), but nemesis is still actively being developed. So issues related to it are either currently being addressed or will be addressed. Last thing, I have caught wind that more high quality combat related mods will be coming out soon, so stay tuned, guys. Be sure to cover those as well, Heavy Burns ;) I'll be looking forward to your videos covering those PS: please don't ask for support regarding nemesis below as this video isn't about nemesis. I never comment on KZbin and will probably be drowned, but if you ever see this, know that the astounding quality and passion you put in these videos is downright awe-inspiring. I subscribed as soon as I heard my all-time favorite soundtrack play in your videos, and will definitely be staying for the quality. The videos are gorgeous, you're definitely great at editing, and it is a pleasure to watch. As separate note, the synergy approach makes all of this make so much more sense for someone like me, who only discovered Skyrim last year thanks to the switch, and knows absolutely nothing about mod compatibility and such. Heavens know my potato of a laptop could never handle modded Skyrim, so I guess it doesn't matter, but still, if someone gave me a gaming computer today so that I could play modded Skyrim, this exact video is where I'd start. At this point, I may be talking to myself than I am talking to you, but 2020 has made me really hate how stuck I am in life. Everything feels stagnant, including me. But then, I look at your videos, and the work that went into it, and I feel inspired to start writing again. Because even in these difficult times, you found a way to create something amazing, and I aspire to do that too. Am I thinking about this all too much ? Sure am. But it doesn't change the fact that your work made me -feel- something. That's hard to do these days. One last thing I'd like to add in case you read up to this point : while I (and many others I am sure) will be looking forward to your next video, please don't work yourself to death over it. I've seen you answer to another comment saying you were getting very little sleep, and while I can appreciate dedicated, I know first hand that burnout can creep up on you real fast if you don't take care of yourself. I am not implying that you don't take care of yourself, or assuming that you don't know how to do so. But, just in case, please keep in mind that one shouldn't burn themselves to keep others warm. Much love and luck to you xx

you def shouldnt use them both nemesis is meant to replace FNIS. All mods that used FNIS should work with nemesis and you can use the fnis.esp without FNIS for mods like xp32 that require it
@SarahNelsen4 жыл бұрын
unless your using creature animations and/or nautghty mods, its not worth keeping fnis installed. nemesis is a much better and much smoother framework.

@@verified7950 I also heard tha nemesis isn't really good for custom combat or walking/running animations. Is that true? While the whole concept looks and sounds good, I would also like to replace these boring swinging animations with something else without any glitches or bugs.

This is f***ing insane. In the past I've tried to get the game like Dark Souls but sadly most of the mods were outdated, but you've managed to get this incredibly sleek looking combat system working in Special Edition! SE is really underrated and I'm glad to see it finally getting the love it deserves. Thank you!

Looks lovely. I have a question, how does stamina work in this combo? I've been using wildcat+CGO and I have to confess, I always run out of stamina and it takes ages to regenerate. Ages that I don't have during combat. Is there increased regen or something? I got used to Dark Souls stamina and Skyrim stamina is very annoying because of that
@HeavyBurns4 жыл бұрын
there is actually another mod i tend to use which regens stamina similar to dark souls but it recently got taken down. Maybe something like this would be a good alternative: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14715?tab=description
@NamelessKing15973 жыл бұрын
I use this www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38676?tab=files it also reduces the speed of projectiles making them easier to dodge or parry and a bunch of other stuff.

my problem with combat gameplay overhaul is that its unlocked grip feature is terribly executed, let me explain. With unlocked grip, you can wield 2 handed weapons in 1 hand, making them faster thus dealing more damage and with 1 handed you can wield them in 2 hands making them faster and deal more damage, there is no point using 1 handed weapons in 1 hand and vice versa for 2 handed thus getting rid of the point of using 1 handed weapons in one hand, its just broken and poorly balanced and yes i know there is an mcm to tweak speed and damage but that also makes little sense since why would wielding a 1 handed sword in 2 hands deal less damage? rant over sorry if it rambles but thats why i cant recommend CGO for its unlocked grip feature
@Johtoboy554 жыл бұрын
For most one-handed weapons, a two-handed grip should result in increased damage at the cost of speed. For two-handed weapons, a one handed grip might make them unwieldly (and thus slower) if the character isn't strong enough to stop the weapon's momentum and shift direction. The positive however is that it would free your other hand to do something, like block with a shield or use magic.
@7dayspking4 жыл бұрын
Considering your complaints are about realism. You can have better control/leverage with a weapon in two hands and more 'follow through'. However weapons swung in 1 hand follower a much wider arc, the tip reaches much greater speeds and has a lot more reach. 1 handed weapons can be used with a shield. In real life 'parrying' weapons with a weapon is pretty damn unreliable, dangerous and difficult. Without a shield, your best defence is distance, not blocking with a weapon. Ideally you combine the two. Sekiro's combat is focused on an unrealistic, romanticized, fantastical ideal of swordsmanship where combatants are able to stand statically toe to toe with each other and with consistency block all incoming strikes and not get constantly hit like they actually would. In reality the guy with the shield and one handed sword would be pretty difficult to hit for the guy with a weapon in two hands. Guy with two handed sword is kind of screwed, every time he attempts a strike he's basically running face first into a sword. Shielded guy can if he wants sit, wait and deliberately strike whenever his opponent attempts to and always come off better. Two handed guy needs to be very tricky to get his opponent's shield out of the way before he actually strikes and very elusive and super quick not to just get hit when he does strike. That's how 'realistically' these things would balance out.
@7dayspking4 жыл бұрын
@@Johtoboy55 Other way around. A weapon becomes less taxing to move and more nimble in two hands but isn't swung around in as wide an arc. You're going to get your biggest swings in one hand. It's pretty obvious why. When anyone takes a really big swing (to hit something, to throw something really hard.). They don't squeeze their hands together, crunch their body up and swing with both arms together. Instead you would stretch your arms out wide, draw your striking arm right back and then sling your arm like an elastic band. You only compromise with two hands when you need more leverage at the cost of power because something is too heavy to throw, to push, to move.
