Excellent video Dom, some great landings indeed. Beautiful large scale aircraft. Nice to see the T.Perry/Ramy Globemaster again . The 6 engine floater was really cool.

As a scratch builder I find more joy in the build rather than the flight, although the flight is the final test of a good build.

A proper landing requires a long final approach, whereby very minimal adjustments are made and the result is a tremendously smooth landing touchdown. And it looks more scale. If these were real planes, there would be constant complaints to management by the cabin cleaning crews about all of the continual, unnecessary cleaning of vomit.

Some of those pilots looked like they were a little short on landing skills 🙂 In fairness, that looks like a very short runway for some of those giants.

Very long runway for full size gliders actually. I doubt these models fly very often. In my experience you only get consistently good at flying a particular model if you fly it a lot. Most armchair critics out there just don't appreciate that.

@@EssentialRC I do :-) I think the runway in the video "looks" shorter because it dips downward at the end. I really enjoyed the landing that had the spectators running for cover LOL

Why do many of them build planes over their skill level? I mean the planes are beautiful but they need some more skill to fly and especially land

Maybe they only gain that skill by flying them 🙄

@Lopez_rc Different with every aeroplane/jet. The fun is in the challenge of getting them to fly scale. Mistakes will happen along the way 😁

​@@Lopez_rcRemember, these jets are not an ARF. Most of them are scratch built. As a scratch builder myself, it's a continuous challenge to make these planes fly well. However, there should be a minimum of piloting abilities to fly at such shows.... That's my 5-cent
