Not sure which polishing compound you need to get the job done? Following along as Joey explains how and when to choose the right product for the application. Not every car requires a 3-step polishing job. For cars with light to moderate swirl marks, scratches, and defects, VSS is the perfect one-step polish that cuts hard like a compound and then finishes in like a fine polish to restore a lustrous shine and deep reflection in a fraction of the time of standard 2 or 3 step polishes.
C4 Clear Cut Correction Compound delivers rapid results in less time in a compound that is effortlessly capable of removing scratches and swirls, sanding marks, scratches, acid rain etching, and severe swirls and holograms means this is your new go-to compound whether you have a DA or rotary polisher, or you’re working by hand. C4 is developed for fast cutting paint correction without long work times and is designed and developed for tremendous results in the shortest time possible. P4 easily and quickly helps gently remove fine swirls, towel marks, and scratches delivering a mirror-like reflection as the final step in your polish. With P4, speed is of the essence and long work times are not required, so you can get incredible results in the shortest time possible. When you’re looking for a truly perfect finish with deep gloss, P4 polish technology effortlessly produces flawless results with your DA or rotary polisher. The versatile polish is capable of correcting 2000 grit and finer sanding marks without dusting or leaving behind residue, making this polish extremely easy to use and work with.
Remove light to heavy scratches and swirl marks with the V-Line! Use the full V-Line Kit to restore paintwork, clear optical plastics on headlights and tail lights, wheel finishes, carbon fiber, and any other exterior car part that is shiny or clear. The refined micro-abrasives of the V-Line come in coarse compounding grits, and refined polishing grits that can remove wet-sanding marks with just a dual-action polisher.

I have the V line that has come with my TorqX that I bought three years ago. At first I was using V34 and V36 because I was very cautious to polish the first cars. Later I realized that V32 is just slightly more aggressive or more cutting than V34. The last car that I polished (Golf 2016) I just jumped into V32 and it saved some time to get the results versus going with V34 and V36. I used V32 for cutting and a light polish with V38 because the paint just needed some corrections from scratches and marks. After that I applied the Chemical Guys Ceramic Coating gel and then applied the Chemical Guys Jet seal. Great results for a used car that stay on the driveway almost all the time.

@RafaelKoike

@@JayMrealestate As you drive your car, dust and small particles will hit your car. Even more if you drive on highways. What you should always do is to have a wax, glaze or ceramic coating that will work to: 1/ serve as sacrificial layer and the dust and all particles will hit them before your clear coat, 2/ periodically wash and re-apply the protection and 3/every year, evaluate the paint and do a light polish or use a long term protection like ceramic coating to work on the maintenance only for years. So, there are multiple paths to take care of your car. You can do small and more frequent maintenance with wax and glaze, or do a more deep prep and ceramic coating a light regular maintenance with washing and some dressing.
