We cover all the following:
Conduit is the 25th Legend coming to Apex. She’s the first Filipino Legend who was a huge fan of the Apex Games before she decided to step into the arena. Conduit is a support Legend with a focus on healing shields.
Here’s how her kit works:
Passive: Save Your Speed
Conduit gets a speed burst when she’s facing her teammates’ direction who are out of her Tactical’s range. Think of it as a variation of Bangalore’s Passive Double-Time.
Tactical: Radiant Transfer
Conduit provides temporary shield regeneration for herself and her teammates. The temporary shields only regen up to three shield bars and the regen can be paused if the player with the effect gets damaged. The regen and temporary shields deplete after a few seconds.
Ultimate: Energy Barricade
Conduit throws out seven shield gen devices that are thrown out in a line that can cover a large or small amount of space (depending on your environment). The devices will pulse and connect, slowing and damaging enemies 10 ticks per second when they’re in the pulse range.

Planning to start maining her, I was a Wattson main with pretty high stats - Conduit, however, really targets my common issues as an anchor/supportive player, especially playing mid-long range loadouts and then having trouble catching up without extra movement. I also think she's very versatile

I can see her go well during ranks but in my regular br lobbies. Some are just too selfish and would often spread out and leave you behind. She will either change the team dynamics or I’ll wander like a lost child. Either way, excited to see another legend in play regardless whether I dig her or not cuz you’ll be surprise how creative people are with characters’ synergy.

@@DarrisPope Not really because in most scenarios that person that pushes by themselves will be knocked before a conduit can even help that player. Conduit is better in a coordinated team. That player that runs into a decent team will get team fired and finished before the conduit even uses their tactical lol.

A good conduit main will communicate tactical timings and more specifically, when the 8 second regen wears off. I think a lot of players will misunderstand how the regen works at first, or think that she has multiple charges of her tactical

For the love of God create on screen health indicators for support legends that heal teammates. I don’t want to have to look at my teammate, look to the bottom left to make sure they’re hurt enough, then look back at them and hit my tactical. Lifeline and conduit should be able to see on the character model itself when a teammate needs health just like overwatch. How hard would this be honestly?

In terms of the conduit ult - it seems they used similar coding to Ballistic Tac - the damage of the AoE registers if u are on the same side of the projectile / object spawning it. I think its a bug bc the AoE dome is clearly penetrating doorways, box edges, etc. but its spaghetti code i think

I think people forget you can throw grenades, tactically, and ultimates with wattson Gen nearby. Just gotta put your back to it and look out and the Gen shouldn't eat it. :)

Being a former lifeline main, the whole point is to fight quicker and more aggressive then the other team so when a lifeline drones, pop a syringe. When conduit zaps you, pop a cell. I almost want to use her tac early in a fight, let that sit there while the ability charges back up, then teammate can be aggressive “oh he’s cracked” ok well while he sits and pops a cell the rest of his shields fill up

That's one detail i was wondering about with her Q to select one person to restore shield and my reaction was to pop a batt right away. My instinct on the use of her ability is to recover the shield during normal recovery in case you get pushed if that makes sense? Legend still new that building that confidence that restoration of the shield as Lifeline health drone to be able to push with your team during the restoration of your shield would take some time to get use to. Other than that she is a great legend support for the team to keep them healthy. I'm a bit confused on her ULT as it restores shields while in the ULT if that's what happens? If anyone could clarify that detail. Not sure if I'm mixing in with her Q during the ULT.

Played her a bit, fun character. I main revenant (since pre reboot even) and having her as support is amaizing. I managed to pull the nastiest 1v3 yesterday because i jumped in with oversheild and had her regular sheild regen underneath. I feel like the devs sidnt realise it would make it so everytime revs oversheild revamps from getting a knock my entire regular sheild would regen underneath 😂😂 and you can take damage on revs oversheid and it will still regen underneath!? Are they going to patch this? It feels unbalanced 😂

Cant wait for teams of Horizon, Cat and Conduit. Walls/goo plus Energy barricade when holding a position. Need to be aggressive? Black hole to break a door and suck players in then Energy Barricade to damage them while they shoot Horizon ult. Fun times I dont think any of this may be OP and Im happy for the new character but its a bit upsetting to see how many characters are essentially overwriting the need to have good aim, awareness or strategical play. Fuse and Maggies denying door play by pressing Q. The Seer/scan meta. Caustic/Wattson/Cat bunkering. Even in casuals, I feel like I'm dying more to AOE abilities than actual aim

LoL horizon has been useless every since she got nerfed 6 seasons ago and catalyst mains are also extremely rare theres about as many horizon and catalyst mains as there are wattson mains so that's not a good answer because it's only gonna mean that wattsin is only useful 2% of the time. Yes Wattson needs a buff her ult not only destroys enemy grenades and stuff but also OUR OWN TEAMS ULTS and nades I did that with a Gibby and fuse and bang one game and we lost because of it. Just admit the devs don't give a crap about wattson. The only defensive legend that was actually competent at their job was caustic and they annihilated him. We don't even see caustic mains anymore and meanwhile the devs buffed the strongest legends in the game and nerfed the weak ones. Catalyst just got her ult nerfed next season even though noone even plays her. The devs buff strong weapons and legends and nerf weak ones it's the problem witht eh fame and why the Meta hasnt changed

I think she is going to fall off, but not as hard or quickly as Ballistic. Everyone is just so starved for another Healer that they are wearing blinders. Her tactical is situational since any bullet dmg is a cancel and her ULT looks as useful as Fuse, just less self harm. Had Fuse been immune to his own fire he could also have similar uses. The passive is just a quick fix for not paying attention to your team lol. She gunna be a mixed bag, so maybe I’m wrong. At the very least I’m going to play her because I’m a casual and I want to make a garden of roses 🌹 let’s goooooo

I think people are expecting her to play like a pocket mercy in OW. I see her real benefit being in that middle range where each team is looking for a crack to push up. Having her be able to essentially cancel you teammates being cracked and let them catch the other team out seems like the most value. Or if your team is pushing and trades cracks, while they are trying to batt you can still push while being healed

As far as synergy with ballistic, I think it's actually INCREDIBLE. If ballistic ults, not only will the whole team have quick reloads and infinite ammo, but they can now push even HARDER if they're being healed by conduit. It WILL take an actual coordinated team though, ir at least a fair amount of communication, but I think that combo is top tier for pushing a fight and ending it very very quickly

No synergy with ballistic? His tactical makes an AOE if it misses, which kind of hides itself in the conduit ult. So they would get slowed, take 10 damage per second from conduit, another 5-20 (depending if they walk into it or get hit directly)AND have the over heat mechanic applied (so another possible 30 damage). On top of all of that, if you’re using Ballistics ult your entire team has better fighting capabilities…I personally think there is at least some synergy there, and a lot of potential to quickly eliminate one enemy, giving your team an even greater advantage.
