Hello Liana! I don't think the bag is too heavy with everything inside, I think it is because my laptop is not too heavy. The straps are thin but are durable. The straps on the Fossil Camilla bag is similar to this Amelia bag, so it is something you want to consider!

To me personally, I don't think it is too heavy with all the things inside. The straps are thin, but durable! this is really one of my favorite bags for school & work. However, after long periods of carrying like any backpack, it can get heavy
