I have the Andis excel 5 speed and the Oster A5 turbo. The Andis is more ergonomic but gets hotter faster. I can shave my shih tzu mix easily. Wahl competition blades are awesome Would love to try the K series clippers-but will probably get an Aesculap FAV 5 or Heininger for my next clipper.

Hey! As long as your blade is an A5 snap on style it will be compatible with the Wahl KM5 :)

Please, I need your help on this. If you had a choice to do a #6 Andis Master all over (3/4″) vs an Oster76 3 3/4 blade (1/2″)…..would you give up an 1/8″ of length to be able to get the precision cut that the Oster76 blades deliver or would the magnetic #6 guard on the Andis Master be more than sufficient of a cut as far as quality goes?
