I do believe Greenworks and ego are comparable but I cannot recommend one over the other as I have mainly experience with Greenworks line of tools. What is your favorite thing about the Ego line of outdoor tools?

Good video! Which battery tool do you use for annoying, thick vines along the ground? I have some in an area that are helping to stop erosion but they interfere with my regular weed trimming and I want to cut them back. I'm thinking either a pole saw (some vines are high and out of reach) or the regular or pole hedge trimmer. I'm leaning to the pole saw but I don't like hearing that pole saws leak oil, do they all leak oil? And I'm afraid I'll eventually wear out the regular hedge trimmer using it on the thick ground vines. Any suggestion? And thanks for the video.

p.s. I love my Greenworks 80v weed trimmer, it's strong. Maybe a little heavy but worth it.

Personally, I destroy thick vines, small branches, etc. with hedge trimmers only. I have a pair of pole hedge trimmers and they work great for the harder to reach stuff. Just make sure what you get is a good brand and is rated for at least 1/2" cutting ability. Even when vines are thicker, you can just chew at it with the hedge trimmer and it will cut through.

@@terrycarlton6991 In the 80v system, Greenworks makes a 2.0, 2.5, 4.0, and 5.0 AH battery. Some homeowners would prefer the lighter weight of the 2.0 battery because they might never need more than 30-45 mins of full on work time around their property. The higher the AH of the battery, the higher the weight so just depends on the application but each has its place. How much trimming you looking to do and how often?
