We have the Samsung Jet 90. The Costco version came with a charging stand and an extra battery. After a year of use, it still works excellent. Two things: the deciding factor was the self emptying station and the superior filtration. The self empty station really makes the process easier. I've had the LG A9 for a yr and half and use it daily. It's been a great vacuum. Mine came from Costco, and came with 2 batteries. The brush head really does a great job of resisting hair wraps and it does a great job in carpet even on low power mode. With both batteries it can also run a long time. The stand will charge both batteries too, but one one at a time. The battery in the vacuum charges 1st, then the spare in the stand. It's really cool, every time you need it both batteries are full. At its price point in don't think it can be beat. With the saving a small shop vac can handle the big junk and you are atill money ahead of the Samsung or Dyson.

The 20v stick vacuum? If that's the one. I can give it a instant pass. I use it in a school with a 6.0ah battery and the only con I can give it is the hose size gets clogged with heavy dust. It sucked up dirt,food crumbs, small paper, and orchestra strings and bow strings.

I was looking for a cordless vacuum awhile back and came across the Craftsman at Lowes. Figured I’d try it out and return it if it was a pos. Glad I bough it as it exceeded my expectations. They go on sale periodically so I picked mine up for $149.99. Included a decent charger and 2.0 battery, +another free 2.0 with purchase. Later, I picked up two 4.0 and “faster” charger for $99.00. Improved performance and run time;however, larger battery will make it top heavy and prone to falling over if you try and leave it in the upright position, unsupported.

In reality those vacuum power etc doesn't really mean much. It's all about those subjective test. But you know it's projectfarm he loves to get into those technical details. Like you can't just say you have a 1000 horse power car you are the fastest, anything below 1000 horse power is slower than you It's all about the best design to serve it's purpose. Like the test "sand extracted from crevice" is very unrealistic. In a regular house you don't have big deep crevice like that, mostly you are talking about slide door gap or door gap etc. That's why the accessory comes into place to help you, you don't just use that same head and expect it to work in literally everything, there's no perfect head for everything. You can argue say Dyson V15 is the best, but does it worth two sharks? I don't think so

According to Vacuum wars review, hepa filter performance Dyson V15 is best. It releases most cleaner air than others

That seems right. If you can afford it, go for the Dyson. But if you are on a low budget then the Shark looks like a good compromise.
@AnthonyLauder Жыл бұрын
@@genrr2361 I don't see it as just the price of the vacuum cleaner, but also as the price of my time. I had a cheaper brand for a while, but bought the Dyson to speed up my cleaning time. Sure, it is $300 more than the Shark, but it saves me about 20 minutes a day, which over a 5 year lifespan of the cleaner works out at more than 600 hours save. In other words, it costs me less than 50 cent to save an hour of cleaning time, which I think is great value.

I think the tests here show what my experience has been. I have used several of these devices in an attempt to find a good vacuum. For me the Dyson V15, which we have now, is by far the best I’ve ever used. We have 5 dogs and I vacuum twice a day to get hair and dust off the floor. I love that Dyson, it performs amazingly and is easy to clean. If you keep up on the maintenance it makes quick work of just about everything, every time. The Tineco doesn’t last as well as the Hart. I’ve had several others and generally speaking, they just don’t last. Dyson is $750 for a reason, it is as good today as the day I bought it. It’s the only vacuum I’ve ever had where I can say that.

I have a friend who owns a Kirby vacuum and she stated it's the very best vacuum cleaner but I wouldn't know as Dyson is the most expensive I'm willing to pay and Kirby runs like $2K and up. Guess there's a reason Nintendo's pink mascot is named Kirby. Went to my next video and the ad was of the Kirby AVALIR 2 and when I went to click the link, to see the cost, it was $2.1K.

Great job on the testing, as usual, Todd! I own the Dyson V15 after owning a corded Shark handheld for 4 years, and although the price tag is painful, it is definitely worth every penny (a corded vs. cordless comparison would be interesting). It picks up dust we never thought existed. That said, the Tineco does sound like a great buy if you're not willing to pay $800+ with taxes for a vacuum. I'm a structural engineer and have done numerous concrete cylinder testing while in school and read many field mixed concrete test reports to verify my design strength to submit to the buildings department. I can tell you that concrete mix gets weaker if you add more water than what's in the pre-mixed bag tells you. Hence, w/c (water/cement) ratio affects strength of the concrete. Also, temperature makes difference in concrete placement along with many other factors. Therefore, I don't think Project Farm is able to test and compare pre-mixed concrete bags objectively since it requires mix, placement, and curing which has to be done in control environment along with licensed profession engineer overseeing the data for 7 day break and 28 day break.... It's not as simple matter as tools and other consumer products.
